I usually lean toward plain travel gear, but Halsea’s relaxed and playful luggage and accessories collection has caught my eye.

That little girl’s lunch tote would be a hit in any lunchroom.
And I’m especially loving this roller duffle.

The stripes of red definitely do it for me.

Speaking of mudrooms, this one fits the bill.  The white beadboard, leaning framed photos, the perfectly arranged wall art, the chalkboard easel, striped rug, tiny window, basket storage…  I’ll stop now.

Did I mention the large letter “H”?  I love that too.  Everyone seems to be decorating with letters these days.  (Lilly has an “L” on her wall in her nursery)  I ran across these yarn covered letters and find them to be uber adorable.

How cute would that ‘stached “G” be in a little boy’s room?!  You can purchase your own at the Cranny shop.

While flipping through the new Pottery Barn magazine yesterday I came across their new framed card holder

It’s a lot like a great display idea I just saw on 6th Street Design School’s good design kids in mind series.
Which got me thinking…I (read- my husband) could easily make a diy version of this frame for a lot less.  It would make a fabulous display for Lilly’s art, pretty invititations and cards, photos…  I already have a spot chosen for it in my mudroom.  Will keep you all posted.

If you were to visit my home you would notice that there are some blank walls that could use a little something.  This is because I try to only hang wall decor that I really love it.  I would rather stare at a blank wall and envision what could go there rather than stare at something and feel indifferent about it.  I guess I love “the search”.
I have had the Conde Nast Store bookmarked for a few months now.  Did you know they sell magazine cover art prints that date back to the 1910s? You can find various covers of Vanity Fair, GQ, Glamour, Living, Mademoiselle, and Charm, among others.  Most of my favorites are from Vogue

If you’d like to see more check out their store.

Have you all had a nice weekend?  I’ve enjoyed mine (still am).  It’s been filled with a design walk, oyster roast, an oktoberfest party, and lots of family time.
Lilly was feeling the fall love at oktoberfest, and I want to share her outfit with you all.  She was quite the partier.

dress- american apparel, cardigan- american apparel, scarf- zara, jeans- gap, shoes- old navy.

Etsy is one of my favorite places to browse.  Today I’m sharing a few of my favorites and some new finds.

If I were to use a cozy for my morning cup, I’d use this.

Loving this bright and cheery vintage tray.

A perfect pillow for a child with her head in the clouds.

Love this porcelain vase with carved lace design.

A simple and calming handwritten calendar.

I’ve delighted in these coverall hats for awhile now.
These mini canvas prints would be a perfect touch to a bookcase.
