There’s a lot in there to talk about, like the owl wallpaper, feather lamp, rug, side table…  But did ya’ll see that there painting?  The artist is none other than Jenny herself (rockstar) and she’s working on an etsy shop to start selling her paintings.  So stay tuned for that.  Endless thank yous to you Jenny for whipping up this pretty for us!

This week I got the good news that my girl made it off the waitlist for pre-school.  Naturally we came armed with the camera for her first day.  She really did so well, I was one super duper proud momma!  When I picked her up she was as happy as could be, and the teachers were going on and on about how smart she is.  So nice to hear that after keeping her all to myself the past two years, maybe I haven’t been a total failure after all?

We have a couple of last additions to the bright pants trend outfits post that I asked you all to submit. Amber from Simple Dwellings whipped up a really great outfit.  I especially love the top!
{Check out the polyvore set with shopping links here!}

And there’s more: Gaby from The Vault Files sent over this beauty!

As soon as Chassity mentioned the idea of posting outfits of her readers I immediately created this outfit. I was still in The Island but soon taking a (few) plane (s) to civilization, so the idea of going out for a date night with my husband sounded exciting and the perfect inspiration for this outfit (something I would totally wear). I really like the golden details of the sleeves, necklace and heels, I think they complement perfectly without overshadowing each other, don’t you think?

5. Alexander McQueen Platform Sandals

But that’s not all from Gaby.  You all remember that she has that great jewelry shop, The Vault Jewels?  Well I was so touched to find a little surprise from her in my mailbox this week.  She sent me one of my most favorite pieces from her line.  Thank you, Gaby – adore you so much!

Let’s see, what more fun stuff is going on.  Oh yeah, just this fanfreakingtastic trunk show collaboration that I REALLY wish I was in NYC for next week.  Both Marysia Swim AND Hunter Dixon are teaming up for trunk show with over 50% off Fall 2011 collection (IE CURRENT collection, not last season!).  Ya’ll up there have got to go and scoop up some deals on September 22nd from 5 – 8!
And I saved some super fun news for last…. we have a winner for our independent stylist for Stella & Dot giveaway.  Congratulations Sarah!  You just won a $100 Stella & Dot gift certificate, which sounds like you’ll put towards the Leona necklace.  Lucky, lucky girl!  Just send Annette an email at hello@baublesbash.com.

Little makes me happier in my blog world than introducing great brands to my readers.  Today I have the honor of sharing the talent behind one of my new sponsors, Paige Winn Photo.  Paige recently moved to Charleston, SC from the midwest, and not a moment too soon. Her eye and creative take on the art of caturing moments has been warmly welcomed!

I think Paige’s quirky yet classic photos are guaranteed to keep you smiling for years to come.
You just might recognize this adorable family below.  It’s none other than our friend Michelle, over at Pretty Mommy, with her two adorable girls!
See, Paige is incredibly talented, isn’t she?!  These photos just blow me away.
And Paige isn’t just for us Carolinians! She loves to travel.  So if you like what you see please check out her site and contact her.  Welcome to Charleston and Look Linger Love, Paige!

We’re back this morning with another nursery creation from a blogger that I’ve been reading for a long time: Sue, aka The Zhush!  Surely you know her shop, it’s filled with gorgeous finds!  So I’m thrilled to have Sue contribute her baby boy inspiration to the Nursery Design Series today!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi everyone, Sue from The Zhush here! Thrilled to be putting together this fun little inspiration board for little baby boy “Look, Linger, Love”!
This gray modern crib is so completely different than the traditional dark stained wood one I used with my own three children, that I was immediately drawn to it. The “modern safari” theme that I came up with here is without a doubt inspired by my five year old son’s current obsession with all things “Indiana Jones”…I can hear the theme song from Raiders of the Lost Ark as I type this!  Hope you like it!
Cosmo Rug in Area Rugs | Crate&Barrel: $499 – crateandbarrel.com
Mid-Century Rocker Chair: $288 – urbanoutfitters.com
Sundayland The Pouf (bean bag): $2,800 – yliving.com
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Very cool room for a boy, and that crib is one of my favorites! Love the simplicity.  Thanks so much to Sue for creating this space for us.  Be sure to check out her amazing shop for lots of pretty finds!

This may be the funniest blog I’ve come across in a long, long time!  Suri’s Burn Book is “A study in Suri and the celebrities that disappoint her”.  A riot.

Does it get any better than sassy opinions from a mini fashionista?
Thanks to Ashley at Hem & Her for tipping me off to this site.

Man, ya’ll are a spoiled bunch!  Our independent stylist for Stella & Dot is back here this week with yet another dy-no-mite giveaway: a $100 gift card to pick out jewelry of your choice!

I was actually just at a Stella and Dot trunk show last week and got to see the entire fall collection in person.  I’m no doubt a fan or I wouldn’t sing their praises here on my blog, but to see all the jewels in person is just a beautiful thing.  SO much gorgeousness.  This After Midnight Necklace is my current gotta have it item!

Perfect alone, perfect layered.  Maya Brenner is the designer behind this necklace and has an impressive client list including Reese Witherspoon, Cameron Diaz, Demi Moore and Rachel Bilson.  Guh, love!
Of course there are plenty of other jewels to choose from.  Maybe you’d like one of these beautiful pieces…
The great thing is you get to pick what you want.  Here’s how you enter to win the $100 gift certificate from our independent stylist for Stella & Dot gift certificate (Leave a seperate comment for each entry please):
1. Tell us which piece you would choose if you won
2. “Like” Annette’s S&D Facebook Page (Pssst, she does giveaways on there)
3. Tweet the giveaway
4. Tell us about your favorite S&D piece that you already own
This giveaway will end Friday night!  Good luck!
