I’m a dress lovin’ girly kinda gal. So when the ladies at LulaKate asked me to help spread the word about their brand new ready to wear collection – well I agreed wholeheartedly.

Because it’s really, really good and man I love when I can support an awesome Charleston talent! But hey don’t go thinking oh this is just a Charleston thing. LulaKate’s bridal and bridesmaid collections have garnered plenty of attention.

And for good reason.

To ensure that I could really speak to the greatness that IS LulaKate, they ever so sweetly invited me to choose a dress from their debut collection. Yes please. Windemere in Blue all the way.

As you can see I’m really happy. I love this dress. And one of the best parts about it is that it’s limited edition. Each LulaKate ready to wear collection is only available for about 2 months on their site. And then – tada – a brand new collection unveils. So keep up and buy fast.

To see more of LulaKate check out their gorgeous site. You can also re-visit my post on their spring runway event here.

Thanks LulaKate! Congrats on the new collection that I know makes your customers happy. xx,

I did a super awesome Home for the Holidays gift guide for Jamie over at I Suwannee. You’d make us really happy if you went to see it HERE.

So I’m a judge at this year’s Festival of Wreaths Thursday night at the Shops at Charleston Place downtown. I’m super pumped and would be really, really happy to see some of you there. The wreath designers participating are insane- like Haskell Harris, Angie Hranowsky, Lulie Wallace, Harper Poe… So come bid on some freaking awesome wreaths made by these super cool people.
They’re currently spread throughout the Charleston Place Shops so I walked through and snapped a few to give y’all a peek.
All the proceeds benefit MUSC Children’s Hospital, and there will be champagne, food, holiday music, and I’m sure lots of pretty people :)

That’s all. Happy Weekend, Guys!

**Update- Due to an awesome response this event is now full**
I’m so excited to host a holiday craft event at Anthropologie on the night of Wednesday, December 12th. We’ll be sewing up some fun and festive stockings and there will be two different sessions to get your craft on. We’ll mingle, shop, craft, eat and be merry.
Space is limited (just 20 people per session) so this is one of those things where you really do need to rsvp (and fast!) to secure your free spot. The first 40 peeps to rsvp to anthroevents@anthropologie.com are in.
And hey, it’s the holidays so dress festive :) Can’t wait to see you there! xoxo

Loved your feedback from yesterday’s post. There were a lot of interesting views. Some maybe not so nice and supportive, but I still thank you for sharing your thoughts. I really think that everyone has the best of intentions, ya know?

Kinda like with these thank you notes that have been sitting on my island.

I know I need to write them. And I want to. I just keep putting it off. But just look at how darn pretty they are?? My friend Liza of Bon Vivant designed them (they coordinate with the party invitations we sent). I totally need to get them out. May the force be with me.

I was invited to attend a Charleston Culinary Tour yesterday and it was totally awesome. Sometimes you just gotta go out and do stuff like that, no matter how well you know your city. It was the perfect mix of food, champagne, and history. We even stopped in to some of my favorite places (Sugar Bakeshop & Two Boroughs Larder). I brought my friend Haskell with me. She’s a doll. Are you reading her blog?
Lookie- I’m wearing one of my ASOS swing dresses (i have it in black, red, and grey!) that I’ve told y’all about.

For all my vintage jewelry lovers, my friend Deirdre launched her Candy Shop Vintage site! Go see, go see!! I have a few of her pieces and love them! Congrats Deirdre!

So, I’ve been playing with a few different “skirts” under my Christmas tree. Really just throws and blankets I have around the house. I like them all, but the striped one is staying put b/c I like to curl up with the quilts. So there’s that.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jenny’s slashed all of her paintings 50 freaking percent off for the entire month of December. I bought up this one. Because I love it in a major way. And I like supporting friends.
She said she bought Christmas presents for little Fiona (her daughter) with the loot. But I’m sure what she really wants to buy is styling product and hair clipies for her new bangs. So go buy some of her paintings so she can. ;)
But don’t spend all your monies. Because really, really soon there’s a special crazy awesome guest artist lady having a pop up sale here on LLL just in time for your holiday wish lists.
