I’m full force thinking about NYE right now. The last two years, if I’m remembering correctly, we have stayed in because it’s real hard to get a sitter on such a night. But this year we’re going out and I’m thinking about what to wear. Even if your party or dinner is casual I think it’s still fun to do something a little special. And one of the easiest ways to do this is throw something pretty in your hair. I have two beaded clips exactly like these that I wear all the time most any night. They’re just fun and add a little something special.

Here are a few pretty ones that I love. Anthro also has a fabulous hair accessory collection.

The crescent comb is so freaking awesome in hair – it’s simple but very statement making. And if I had a lot of hair I’d be all over the crystal headband.

And heads up – Shopbop just announced you can take an extra 20% off sale with the code EXTRAOFF20. I am obsessed with this drapey sweater coat and also really love this dolman cardigan sweater

Stockings are fun. I love finding little prizes to tuck and hide in them. Small, big. You never know what you’ll find. I’m so happy to share some of my most favorite stocking stuffers with you all today that are full force Charleston style. Each of these items below are designed or made by Charleston creatives. And don’t worry if you’re not from Charleston, these goods can be appreciated well past our city limit. And seeing as how Charleston was recently named best city in the world by Conde Nast, well I think that makes these goods even more special. Enjoy.

Alright, so you might have some trouble stuffing an Alesya laptop bag into a stocking. But it deserved a mention for sure because they’re amazing.

One of my annual holiday go-to’s is Kate Spade. Always Kate Spade. Every year they have the cutest gift-ables priced perfectly. I love their Under $50 section (okay truth be told I love their Under $100 and Under $200 section, too). This year, they don’t disappoint, and I’ve already scooped up the cute frame and some bow push pins for a few special ladies on my list.

I think any of these would be amazing gifts. And I didnt even pull any of the jewelry pieces. If you’re looking for the perfect $30 gift the  nail polish set is so great. And how cool are these iPhone buttons? I’ve never seen anything like them before.

Oh what to do about the tricky recipients on your list where every gift idea you’ve considered seems not quite right. We all have them. Heaven knows I have a bunch of them (isn’t that the way it goes for a shopping enthusiast). Well let’s get basic here, what makes them happy?

bunny slippers, gold drip mug set

candlestick holdershousekeeping print, backgammon game set 20% off

Well there must be a book lover on your list. I have the new Kindle Paperwhite and love it. Up until very recently was I open to the idea of getting an e-reader… I thought that it seemed unnecessary and that I would miss holding an actual book. But I enjoy reading in bed, and frankly the bright lamp in our bedroom keeps Josh tossing and turning and me not reading. And it makes traveling easier – I can just download my books at a fraction of the price or even borrow them from my local library (did you know you could do that??). Plus I like that I can sit at the pool or beach or even on my porch swing and still be able to see the screen without a glare.

And isn’t that America calendar just darling? The pictures inside are absolutely breathtaking. I really love this Secret Garden calendar too. Such a great and simple gift-able!

Consider your hard to buy for family members checked off. Le Creuset is up on One Kings Lane! Major steals on the best and most celebrated cookware ever. I have the dutch oven on my wish list.

Shop it all out right here and be quick about it as pieces are selling out fast. The sale ends Friday. I dream of having shelves filled with collected white Le Creuset.
