It’s live, it’s live!! If you follow my instagram you may have seen that I’m working on a fun project for Southern Living. My task, find 10 Charleston friends who have serious style for their Southern Style Is story. So I grabbed my friend Gray Benko and went to work. Luckily it wasn’t too difficult…

Don’t want to stop wearing white this fall? Me neither.

round sweatshirt  |  feather tank  |  slit tunic  |  draped shirt

button down  |  hooded cardigan  |  organza ruffle top

accordion dress  |  scalloped top  |  blazer

Riiiiight?? Love that accordion dress with the little sleeves. And that white hooded cardigan come in black, too. Such a good jacket.

Not pictured, but how amazing is this dress? And I really love this top and it’s a steal- would be so cute a blazer! And happy Monday, y’all! I hope you had a nice weekend. It actually didn’t rain here which was nice. We had a beach night Friday. Saturday I was busy with my AOL team making some fun videos for the blog, aaaand the weekend was rounded out with Josh getting a stomach bug.

I feel all sparkly inside to finally get to share this fun makeover project that I helped design earlier this summer. You know how much I love The Land of Nod. And you know how much I love Jane Pope. Put them together and my heart has the warm and fuzzies. Here’s Jane’s beautiful family.

So here’s what happened. The Land of Nod heard that Jane Pope Cooper’s family needed a playroom revamp. So my friends at LON called me and asked if I could help them help Jane design the perfect space for her kiddos. Of course I said yes! Let’s show the before pictures…

And so a liiiiittle magic happened… Now the after!

One of our biggest changes painting the room and built ins white. I love the papering on the bookshelf wall, too.

Some of you might remember from my family’s makeover project with Land of Nod that we used these leaning bookcases, too. Love them so much!

We have the cork rails and paper holders in our playroom too – perfect for hanging art work and pictures.

The book nook. My favorite space in the Cooper’s whole room. Side note, I have a Joya rocker that we used in Fletcher’s nursery and can speak for it’s legit-ness. I love it.

Pretty great, isn’t it?! I’m so happy for Jane’s family – her kiddos are in love with their new space. You can find this feature in the new August Land of Nod Catalog! Big, BIG thanks to The Land of Nod for making yet another dream come true. They really are the best kind of people over there.

Filed Under: Fashion, What I'm Wearing

Good morning! I’m excited to share today’s post because I was inspired to try something new with my hair. Something I never do… From the front it doesn’t look like anything I haven’t done before, but the back is a little different. We’ll get to that in a second. But the reason for the inspo is that I’ve teamed up with Bauble Bar & Pantene to try a new look with hair and jewelry. I love working with brands on collaborations that make me think outside of my box, even if it’s just a little.

madewell silk blouse, mother bleached jeans, 3.1 phillip lim ankle chain sandals,

similar louis vuitton bag, bauble bar earrings + necklace + bracelet

So here’s a look at the back of my hair. I’ve pulled one side of my hair and pinned it far over to the other side. Then I take the other side and pull it over and far to the opposite side and pin it. Make sense? Thank you to Pantene for providing me with their hair product collection to experiment with. I really like the shaping hairspray and especially love the blow out extend dry shampoo.

I’m REALLY into these Bauble Bar stud earrings with the decorative earring backing.

Does this shot of the hair help you see how I did it?
