One of my favorite events during our Explore Charleston blogger weekend this past weekend (see that full recap here) was the Saturday lunch at my house. I just loved having the girls over! And I was so happy with how the lunch set up turned out. I can say that because I had so very little to do with it. This is the first time that I’ve recruited so much help for a party. I’m usually much more hands on. But I knew that I would be so busy with the girls that morning downtown that it just wasn’t feasible. Well I’ve now been completely spoiled by my creative friends that it’ll be hard to throw another party without their help.

Let’s start with OOH Events. I stopped by the warehouse many weeks back to choose some rental necessities… like tables and chairs that would accommodate 16. Kind of important since our usual set up only holds 8. My friend Megan Chandler, who works there, took care of everything for me. I rented the dishes and glassware from Polished (located in the OOH warehouse as well) and called it a day. OOH Events even did all the flowers and delivered and it set up the entire thing for me. LIFE SAVERS! The party was held in our courtyard by the pool.

Let’s talk about all the pretty paper at each setting. My friend Jackie at 42 Pressed is behind those masterpieces. Each one was unique and different and she freaking killed it.

The menu cards. No two are alike. Jackie actually letter pressed overprints over and over again to produce each one. Freaking amazing. I couldn’t get enough of them.

Speaking of the menu, I asked my friends at Caviar & Bananas to cater, because duh. Every party that I go to that they cater is freaking amazing. If you haven’t had their pimento cheese or kale salad then you are missing out on the world’s finest. Trust me. They have two locations downtown that you can stop into and try. I dare you.

They even came and plated everything for me and made it all look so pretty! See how spoiled I am now?! Just hanging around sipping champagne.

We sipped on water and Kate Spade anniversary champagne because that’s how bloggers roll. Ha! Actually I had sweet tea as well but forgot to set it out. Ooops.

Hopefully no one noticed. So happy to have my friends stop by and hang for a little while.

Thank you to all who helped with the lunch. Never would have happened without them. Seriously. Like, I wouldn’t have even attempted it last weekend. So thank you thank you!

This is amazing.

Rainbow Queen

Coats in every shade under the rainbow, but it appears that the Queen loves blue the most. We all have our favorites. I’m inspired.

And if you REALLY want to swoon, take a look at this collection of coats. Hands down my favorite collection this year! As far as a great basic coat goes, this one is my favorite. And this coat could totally be worn as an outfit (over something of course y’all!). I’m really digging it.

Oh hey, Lilly. What’s up?

LLL_streetstyle_1016-19

My little school days girl. Do you SEE those little fox face flats from Old Navy on Lilly’s feet?! They’re her current favorite (Lilly has a lot of favorites…).

And that perfectly sized back pack she’s wearing is from my friend’s company, Babiators. Have you heard of them? My kids wear their sunglasses all the time. Now they make back packs! Perfectly sized back packs!! YES!

So Lilly is really a leggings kind of girl. Nearly every day she picks them out. Even under dresses. I can’t blame her, they are super soft. So I love this simple Old Navy chambray tunic because it pairs perfectly with leggings and jeans.

That little Old Navy leopard sweater is cuteness tied around her shoulders! And oh hey happy 20th birthday to Old Navy! You probably want to go check out their celebration sale.

Over the weekend while walking around with the girls I couldn’t help but document a trend that we’ve all been seeing. There were actually three girls wearing these that morning but I only got two in the picture. Too funny.

I bought this pair and they’re only $60! I bet they move fast. And how great is this neutral woodsmoke color?

I sorta can’t believe I’m just now getting around to sharing an outfit post in this tunic because I’ve probably worn it 5 times. It’s the easiest top to throw on with jeans or fun pants/leggings and I love how drapey it is. Super soft, too. It’s the Carolyn Tunic by CCH Collection, a line that makes many of my go to favorites!

I love how low it goes in the back!

These Alexander Wang’s Lovisa ankle strap pumps are my go to heel right now because they’re pretty darn easy. Frankly I’m obsessed. I have this grey pair but they are available in a range of shades. I think black would be a good versatile pair! If you’re looking for a look for less I found this pair at Zappos for $59. I also really like this pair!

Loren Hope crystal cuff. Always a good one.

I know, that is kind of a weird picture up there. What the heck am I doing, Gray? Also the jeans are my new favorites, too. They’re Madewell’s new high riser skinny skinny cut edge jeans. I love them so much that I have the black pair, too! Flattering shape and comfortable with some cool details like the knee slits and cut edge! And they’re 30% off right now!
