My good friend and neighbor Calder Clark’s recent feature in flower magazine’s Jan/Feb 2015 issue is just so darn pretty that I want to share it. I love all of the blues, whites, and golds.

Isn’t her back porch gorgeous?

In the feature Calder mentions “No one wants to be bride in a bag, where everything matches perfectly. It’s the same with tabletop. Everything should be kissing cousins, as opposed to obsessively coordinated, because then it looks collected over time”.

Calder and I are in the midst of planning a backyard neighborhood party. It sure is handy having such sweet and talented friends! Check out her flower feature here. And if you’re looking for Spring inspiration to style your home check out more ideas from flower mag. They’re offering LLL readers $5 off the subscription price with code LLL15.

Good morning! I hope y’all had a nice weekend. We had a great one with the kids and great friends. Yesterday the weather was nearly 70 degrees, such a treat!

I’m so excited to tell y’all about this Old Navy trench coat that I’ve been wearing lately. A trench is just something everyone should have in their closet, don’t you think? This one lays nicely and has a good structure.

And see the cute polka dot lining?

My Kate Spade nude heels. Another closet classic. If you have nude covered then they come in a bunch of different pretty colors.

I finally found another Zilla bag that I can link to! It’s such a fun bag to carry with neutral outfits.

Also, right now you can take 25% off at Old Navy!! Hurray!

I get asked about my striped throws a lot so when I saw these (they’re hard to find, surprisingly!) I knew I needed to tell y’all. Here is how I keep mine.

Friday finds under $100. Okay, not all are under $100. Some things are just a taaaaad over, but you get my gist.

That black dress is so good. And that petal necklace can be worn two different ways. Also adore that pale pink faux leather dress up there. And isn’t that tropical skirt fun? Did you notice the little tie waist?

PS, J.Crew is offering 20% off!

I cheated on Gray. I hope she doesn’t look at my blog today. In fact, I think I’ll send her a text right now specifically telling her to not look over here today. Whew.

So yeah, my slip happened while I was in NY. But all my friends were doing it (right before we jumped off the bridge) and it was late in the day and my defenses were down, wink. But really, she (the lovely photographer, Sukilynn) was shooting my friends (with her camera, not a gun!) and I wanted in, too. So now I get to show y’all my new pretty top from Hampden.

Only I have it covered up with my coat because it was so. so. cold.

This striped sweatshirt top is a two-fer! While the sweatshirt hooks onto the white top underneath, they can also be worn separately!

derek lam stripe top (also here & here), j.crew coat (similar on sale),

derek lam pantslr rain boots (similar look for less),

lizzie fortunate necklace (look for less)

As you can see I still get a lot of wear out of my Cosmic necklace (look for less), one of the best investments ever. That’s actually the clasp in the front, so it can be worn as seen here or as a chain with the clasp in the back. Another two-fer.

Also while they’re not exactly the same, these rain booties are adorable and only $55!
