I’ve added to my trench coat collection and this one is most definitely my favorite of all. It’s dark navy and goes with everything.

It’s by L.K. Bennett and the quality is superb! Of all the coats that I have, trench coats are probably what I wear the most here in Charleston. They give a light layer and they polish up any outfit.

Happy Thursday!

Remember this past summer when Gray and I traveled to Missouri with Garden & Gun magazine? Well our trip is published in the October/November issue on stands right now!

There is so much to see in Missouri. We stayed in the St. Louis area for our trip – here are some favorite scenes and spots!

Winery hopping along the Katy Trail.

Walking around St. Louis’ old neighborhoods.

Street chess.

Lunch at Gringo.

Tacos at Mission Taco.

Concerts at The Pageant. We saw Ben Harper, who was a favorite of mine back in college.

The St. Louis Zoo is perfect for families.

The Cathedral Basilica is gorgeous.

Paddleboat ride at The Boathouse.

Eclectic places…

Missouri’s Botanical Gardens was one of our favorite spots!

Mooooore favorites :) Doesn’t that black down jacket look cozy?

lace dress, down coat, nude pumps, taupe dress,

bag, green top, blue poncho, coated jeans,

knotted tee, wrap skirt, white top, sunglasses,

infinity scarf, taupe bag, grey/white poncho, blue dress

Blue poncho – fabulous. That knitted infinity scarf is back in stock. The charcoal knotted tee is so cute, and that green top is totally something I’d live in. And the coated legging jeans – so great with sweaters and tunics and ponchos this fall/winter!

A little of my life lately!

This past weekend we made a quick trip to Kentucky and Indiana to see my family. It was really so nice to be home and see everyone without any real plans (i.e. holiday). The weather was fabulous, too.

Harvest season at Granny’s… We sat outside roasting s’mores wrapped in blankets this night – put happiness.

Little cylinder bag. Favorite.

As always, moving art around over here. Loving this Sally Benedict piece here above this console. Josh bought this piece for me about 4 years ago, I think.

Lace up flats and a Troubadour dress.

Cute new spot called Vintage opened up! Super family friendly for those of you in the Charleston area.

Fall accessories – Preston & Olivia hat and Givenchy bag.

A solid 60 minute kid activity right here – lay out a huge tarp and some paint.

And their CUTEST new friends from Hazel Village. I’m afraid I might spend all of my money there buying up every animal and outfit. Do you SEE how they sew the names in the little hearts? So adorable.

Some pretty things… grey sweater, white leather street shoes, and petal necklace.

Morning light in my kitchen. Pendant lights available here.

J.Crew pleated midi skirt and it’s on serious sale! And my Lovisa pumps in grey!

Selfie with Gray.

Pretty Charleston…

So this photo is back from February when I went on a buying appointment at Loeffler Randall with Hampden Clothing. This fringe bag is amazing and is now available! Also, similar rain booties (for about $50)!

And my favorite sweater cape blanket cardigan (seriously it’s like all these things wrapped into one) along with my new scarf!

I have a new favorite little black swing dress. I’ve had it for a total of about 12 days and I’ve worn it 3 times in that period. I know… but it’s the best!

This J.McLaughlin dress has a swingy a-line shape and the matte crepe material keeps the wrinkles at bay – I know because I just flew in this to Kentucky this past weekend and wore it straight out to dinner!

And a new black leather clutch because it’s a great size and is obviously super versatile.

Little silk scarf – big hearts.

And a cashmere poncho sweater for the upcoming cool days and nights. This one comes in 3 colors and is super comfy!

And oh hey – – – J.McLaughlin is offering all LLL readers 20% off of your online orders for the next 24 hours! Just be sure to use the code JMCL20 at checkout! It’s the perfect time to load up on fall sweaters (+ they have an amazing cashmere section). Also, I’m in love with my swing dress in the long sleeve version in this blue!!

I’m Wearing:

j.mclaughlin swing dress, j.mclaughlin silk scarf,

j.mclaughlin cashmere poncho, j.mclaughlin leather clutch,

alexander wang black leather pumps
