Hope y’all had a nice weekend! Here’s a little of my life lately…

Can’t even express my excitement about last week’s photoshoot at my home with Real Simple magazine and photographer Francesco Lagnese. Look for us in April’s issue!!

Weekend before last we co-hosted a a beach bonfire party for neighbor friends and it was so much fun! Perfect fall family activity :)

With the cooler temperatures come many, many pots (or more like le creusets) of soup at my house. This particular day I added cabbage to my chicken soup and loved the simple addition.

Spent a Friday on the golf course with friends volunteering for a cause at the Cap’t Cliff Memorial golf tournament.

I WAS all concerned about our ivy plants not growing, until my instagram friends said that it’s normal for the first year. The more you know.

A little obsessed with the new greetabl site! You pick out a collapsible box design, choose some instagram pictures to personalize it, and then pick a prize to put in it and then it ships off to a friend. So much fun! And I love how it’s going to simplify some holiday gifting.

With my friends Grace and Haskell at Garden & Gun’s southern cookbook launch party. I haven’t had time to make any of the recipes yet but I have about 50 ear marked. Also, I’m wearing this stripe shirtdress and this necklace.

Yet another dinner at The Ordinary (with some photo-bombers).

A couple of weekends ago we headed up to the Clemson area with friends. It was the kids’ first tailgate (we didn’t take them into the game though). Fun for all.

Have y’all tried NUDE Skincare? I’m really, really loving it (and I try what seems like a million products).  I especially love the deep cleansing mask and the brightening fizzy powder wash.

New pillows from artist friends Rebecca Atwood and Lulie Wallace.

This past weekend we headed up to the mountains in North Carolina with 3 other couples and had such a nice time. Love getting away with friends.

Happy Monday!

This latest video mashup to Uptown Funk is pretty much the best way ever to begin your weekend! Enjoy :)

And for your internets perusing pleasure, the most entertaining gift guide that I have seen yet (and no it’s not Goop’s!). Looking for the perfect gift for the hard to buy for family member in your life, here you go. I’m very much into this holiday wrapping idea! And where I’m going this weekend is going to be cold so I’m packing this sweater in both colors! Happy weekend, y’all!

Little bit of a late posting today. Josh and I went out to celebrate our anniversary last night (9 years) and I just couldn’t get everything done in my day. But better late than never, and there are some really awesome pieces in here!

dot sweater, tie dye dress, pineapple flats, pullover sweater, ring,

grey sweater, sweater dress, off shoulder dress,  grey turtleneck,

red coat, off shoulder top, cream coat, black pumps, flutter dress

Everyone’s favorite little black flutter dress is back in stock (and only $88)! So is my ruffle off the shoulder top (seen wearing here). And now it’s also available in that fun blue dress version! Those pullover sweaters are pretty much the perfect top to throw on, and let’s chat about how cute that grey peplum like sweater is! Comes in black, too!

Holiday parties are upon us and it’s the perfect excuse to treat yourself to something new and pretty :)

feather dress, mesh bag, blue dress,  red skirt, fringe dress,

red heels, earrings, ornament clutch, stripe shift,

multi dress, feather vest, red dress, black heels, blue dress

Few favorites… the red off the shoulder dress because obviously. That ornament clutch – ridiculously fun. The stripe shift would be easy to wear and hide a plethora of holiday sins. And aren’t these red heels fun?

I found Lilly the perfect little plaid peplum top for the holidays at Old Navy. So simple and cute!

It pairs perfectly with leggings or skinny jeans.

And you might remember these cute old navy ballet flats from last month’s post – still a favorite over here.

Right now Old Navy has an up to 50% off sale going on so it’s a great time to find some cute things and beat the holiday rush! I also really love this adorable pj set and this fair isle sweater for me :)

Good Friday!! Let’s check in on some of my recent Etsy favoriting, shall we? :)

chunky knit blanket, beach painting, pom pom blanket,

leaning copper rack, moroccan rug, rattan side tables,

bamboo rocking chair, color dipped blocks, pineapple lamp

Loving the look of really chunky knit blankets! A really great way to switch up textures at home. And that copper leaning clothing rack would be so good for guests when you don’t have a lot of closet space. Also, pretty obsessed with that moroccan rug and it’s only $360. Happy Friday!
