Good morning you all! I’ve rounded up some amazing new arrivals for our mid week slump! I’m sure we’ve all been reaching for more coverage when getting dressed lately, and is anyone else finding their wardrobe options slacking? Same. I pretty much wish that I have this cozy top in every color!!
I’m so excited to partner with one of my most favorite sites, Nordstrom, to share one of my favorite parts of fall – all the fashion! Specifically, all the texture and patterns of fall. I love a well done plaid, and my new blue plaid belted wrap coat is one of my favorite things. This shade of light blue paired with the bright red and white is one of the best, most unexpected color combos, don’t you think?
The plaid coat has an oversized, casual fit. And it looks really cute belted, especially with the two front pockets!
By the way, if you’re looking for a really good croissant and coffee in downtown Charleston, La Patisserie is gorgeous. These floors are beautiful and it’s so sunny and happy in here.
These black leather loafers are getting so much wear. They basically go with everything and are super comfortable, yet polished. And I’m just so really so glad that I bought them. They also come in a beautiful camel color and black suede. I really like the little stacked heel.

We had a Halloween party in the neighborhood last night and it was SO much fun. It’s been awhile since I’ve been to an adult Halloween party, I need more of them in my life. It was so funny to see everyone’s costumes and dedication. I dressed up as Cruella de Vil. Have y’all seen Emma Stone’s Cruella in the upcoming Dalmatians movie coming out in 2021? She’s amazing.
So glitter make up might not be part of Cruella’s traditional look, but the way I see it is any excuse to wear glitter make up is a good excuse. I used this chunky iridescent glitter with this glitter glue. It peels off easily!
James Bond meets Cruella de Vil. We look ridiculous together.
Happy Friday and good afternoon! I’m so sorry for my lack of post yesterday and for today’s late post! I really try to write something great every day and it really bugs me when I don’t make it happen!! Truth be told I’m slammed right now with a special project that I will get to announce soon. A little black dress is one of my most worn items during fall and winter. This velvet turtleneck dress (also available here) has the best swingy silhouette and is as soft and comfortable as you’re probably imagining. SO excited to wear this more in the months ahead.
I ALMOST removed this amazing dress because the blue background didn’t go with the collage, isn’t that ridiculous? But it’s just so cute and has the best back button up detail! This black tunic style dress is a classic type to have in your closet. And I’m dreaming of this fun dress for a party!
