Charleston has seen her fair share of spring showers this past week, and my trench jackets have been put to good use! A trusty trench can solve many a weather dilemma, and today’s blog post is dedicated to their honor.

Wearing:

khaki trench jacket, black ankle pants,

similar woven crossbody bag,

silver & blue metal earrings, black ballet flats

Trench’s are possibly the most diverse and flattering outerwear that there is. They come in light jacket form, coat form, rain proof form, and all the colors and patterns. You can change up the look with a scarf (10 points for this one) or a fun belt.

How fun is that green and white floral trench? So cute and springy! I love the soft, drape of this classic one, and if you’re looking for timeless trench I recommend this one!

One day it feels like spring is here, and the next day it feels like winter won’t end. And whether it shows up soon or not, I’m enjoying preparing for it :) Here are the pieces I’m eyeing for spring!

These gingham swimsuits with ruffle detail are screaming at me, they’re so cute! AND they have underwire! Yes, please.

You can’t go wrong with a pair of white denim, they go with everything and can even be worn all year round.

The perfect, and most comfortable, spring heel is without a doubt a great pair of espadrilles. From left to right – creamy white, navy wedges, and a cap toe – these are all versatile enough to go with anything.

And I love this easy and flowy floral top to pair with the white jeans and espadrilles!

Another spring favorite is a linen shift dress, especially this embroidered one! Now to choose a color…. I have to say that yellow is really calling me.

Basically everything in Loeffler Randall’s new apparel section is on my list (have you seen this dress?!). This fabric covered bow belt is so cute and would be adorable paired with dresses for a cool LoveShackFancy vibe, too.

J.Crew’s 4 inch chino shorts are always on my spring or summer list. Casual, comfortable, and available in every color!

What spring list would be complete without a little white dress?! I love the lace trim, drawstring waist, and scalloped hem on this one! And, yep, the skirt is lined.

And let’s end with my most favorite of all – a flowy, floral, mini dress! These are basically what I live in in the warmer months. From left to right – ivory floral dress, a cute black floral dress, and a red floral tiered dress (ps this one comes in black as well).

I just put through a big reorder on Glossier, which is literally one of my most favorite things to do. There are some sites that feel so addictive and satisfying, and Glossier is definitely one of those for me. Here are few of my latest beauty purchases, many of them are refills.

So what did I re-order from Glossier? A refill of boy brow (my favorite eyebrow filler – it’s full proof, also I like both the brown and the blonde shades), a refill of generation g lipstick (in zip! b/c it’s my most favorite, but I’ve yet to try a color I didn’t like), refills of the milky jelly face cleanser (in both the full and the mini sizes, I keep this cleanser in the shower and pack it on trips), and as seen in the photo above, the latest cloud paint shade in coral! This stuff is the bomb and is so creamy and build-able and easy to apply! I think it looks more natural than powder blush.

This is the new RMS living glow face & body powder and it gives a delicate shimmer, which is much needed on my winter skin! It’s light enough that it gives a nice and subtle glowy highlight.

Okay this antioxidant booster by True Botanicals does it all! It brightens, firms, calms and balances the skin. Pretty much everything you want, right? I feel so accomplished when I put this on, lol.

RMS’s uncover up cover up is my favorite concealer, hands down. It’s light and dewy and gives a healthy little glow, so I go through these jars with some regularity. I went with the “11” shade since my winter skin is a little lighter than usual right now. My usual shade is the “22”!

This radiance body oil is the most moisturizing oil I’ve ever used. And it’s more than just a moisturizer, it actually nourishes your skin with antioxidants and essential fatty acids, making your skin feel and look firmer. I put it on directly after I step out of the shower when my legs are still wet!

This pro tip liquid eye liner by Glossier is why I started wearing eye liner again. It’s a pen with a tiny brush tip that is so freaking easy to use and glides on smoothly, precisely, and densely pigmented. Trust.

Last but certainly not least – My friend Annika recommended these Tan-Luxe self-tanning drops and I tend to trust her judgment, so I ordered a bottle. What I love the most about it is that you mix 1-4 drops of this with your favorite serum (y’all probably know that I love this serum the best) or with your favorite face oil! So it’s super easy to blend evenly and build upon. Seriously, where had this been all of my life?!

Schutz definitely isn’t a new line to introduce, they’ve been one of my favorites for years. They do a great job of keeping up with each season and being wearable while not going over the top on the price scale. So yes, Schutz is always good, BUT this new spring season is the best I’ve seen yet. I’m getting some serious Carrie Forbes, Cult Gaia, and Sophia Webster vibes.

I would wear every single pair of shoes up there. I’m loving the bamboo heels and the fun pvc designs. And you know Schutz shoes are always comfortable. I love these sandals!!

Check out the whole Schutz collection right here! Have a great day, Everyone!

Good morning! Today’s blog post is for all those outfits that just get it right. Not just one piece of the puzzle, but the whole look all together.

I’m loving this all pink look! The neon pink sporty sandals are one of my favorite things for spring 2020, and they look really good paired with the pink Remy pants!

This striped tie sarong skirt is so cute for spring break! Love that floral bikini and those cognac leather sandals! I’d take that woven tote as well.

So this jacquard dress is kind of blowing my mind right now. It looks super flattering and bold! I can’t find the boots which makes me really sad, but these are similar and would look amazing!

The cutest swingy shirt dress is now available in this cute blue gingham print! It looks adorable with those platinum ballet flats, which are on sale.

This is the outfit that inspired this entire post. I’m OBSESSED with this bubble-hem mini dress. YES it’s a dress. And those glossy heels?! So gorgeous!

Tennis anyone? Those are actually neon pink pleated shorts that just look like a skirt. Really cute all paired up with the pink sherpa pullover and those adorable pink sneaks.

Yes that green twirly skirt is the statement maker, but to me those blue espadrilles are the real winner. And the white blouse is one of Tuckernuck’s essential shirts that has the extra buttons to prevent gaping!

I’m really loving this floaty pink floral midi dress. The full volume sleeves paired with the fitted smocked top is a really nice effect. And how they are pairing it with these canvas sneakers proves how versatile it can be!

That black peplum top paired with fresh and flattering denim looks so good! And those raffia mules!!

This last one goes against my whole outfit theme, but come on, this rainbow striped caftan dress stands alone.

Happy Valentine’s Day! Even though it’s a pretty cheesy holiday, I still love it. I love pink and red, flowers, chocolate, rom-coms, and tiny valentines. But it’s really the most fun as a mom :) So in honor of Valentine’s Day, today’s post is dedicated to all things pink and red!

That red polka dot dress is such a statement, it reminds me of a cross between Pretty woman and Audrey Hepburn. And isn’t that ruffle one pieces swimsuit so pretty? It comes in a bunch of color options. And this dress makes me want to book a vacation! Have a wonderful weekend, Everyone! I have so much love for you all!
