A little round up of some of my most recent outfits! There are 8 here, I added one after I titled and uploaded the post :)

Hill House navy mini dress, Loewe bag

I wore this navy mini dress to the new Hill House store opening dinner on King St last week. I’m in a size small and runs pretty true to size!

Doen floral mini dress

Just got this pretty dress from Doen and I’m so excited about it. I’m in a size 8, which I think is fairly true to size!

Mother white butterfly top, Pistola jeans, Gucci slides

Okay you guys this white tops is going to be perfect with summer skirts and shorts. I love it so much I’m in a medium. And these jeans are my new jeans I just bought and they are so ridiculously soft I can’t explain it. True to size!

Addison Bay white tank and green skirt (with built in shorrts), APL sneakers, Krewe Sunglasses

A recent walking outfit and I just have to say that Addison Bay is one of my faves athletic brand. I basically wear their pieces 90% of the time when I’m in activewear. They run very true to size!

Mirth green printed dress

This is from Mirth’s new summer collection and I love the flowy floated vibe. I’m in a size small.

Hannah Artwear one shoulder dress, Carrie Forbes heels, Loewe crossbody bag

This dress is one of my favorite things in my closet. SO fun to wear and flowy and it comes with a little belt, too!

Mirth caftan dress

Another fave from the Mirth drop and this dress is just a delight, I’m in a small!

Alemais button down shirt, Agolde cut off shorts, Amanu black sandals

This top is just happy and fun and I’m wearing with it with my new Agolde denim cut offs (TTS I got the size 30)!

I’m just all lit up with spring here in Charleston! I love every time of year but something about the warm weather creeping in and the sunny blue skies and all the plants turning green is just more my vibe. For once I don’t have terrible spring allergies either (I’ve been doing allergy shots for 2 years). What a time to be alive :) Anyway, here are some of the new arrivals I’m eyeing up for spring and summer parties girl nights and travel.

green floral dress, circles raffia sandals, red floral dress, one shoulder floral dress,

white terrycloth set, yellow skirt set, stripe circle skirt, black dress,

blue print dress, green terrycloth mini, white pajamas, blue green v-neck dress

This one shoulder floral moment is such a moment with its coordinating train!! Gosh it’s fun. This blue and green v-neck dress just restocked after selling out so quickly. These are the summer pajamas I want to lounge around in, they feel so fresh. Mad crushing on these circle raffia sandals, Carrie does it again. And this blue stripe circle skirt doubles as the cutest little swimsuit coverup!

Our Spring Break family trip to Rome was incredible. We did 5 full days and 5 nights and it was the perfect European getaway! The weather was incredible low to high 70’s (we went the first week of April) and so we managed some pool time in between exploring. Here are some photos and moments, at the end of the post I’ll share our specific recommendations!!

Touring the Vatican first day and a little exhausted but it was still great.

Dinner at Pianostrada.

My Tanya Taylor jacket was the perfect layer!

Wishing for good luck at the Trevi Fountain.

The portable charger I brought that SAVED us, has 3 built in cords HIGHLY recommend!

Dinner at Taverna Trilussa.

Favorite walking around outfit.

Dinner dress.

The pool at our hotel!

ROME ITALY – OUR FAVES

First, I cannot recommend our tour guide enough. His name is Simone and he’s an archaeologist born and raised in Rome. I can’t imagine there is someone in that city who knows more, and he is an incredible story teller. Book him for any and every tour you do! Thank you to my friend Jessica for recommending him.

We did 3 tours during our trip: The Vatican (including Sistine Chapel, The Coliseum and Roman Forum, and the Underground Rome. We loved them all! I think the Coliseum/Roman Forum was our favorite of them all.

We stayed at the Waldorf Astoria hotel. It’s up on the hill so you need to take a taxi to and from the city but we loved being in this quiet and relaxing area of Rome! We chose it for the pool and were lucky enough to get a hot and sunny week! The concierge team at the hotel was to helpful and handled all of my reservations in advance which made the trip so easy! If you’re staying in Rome for more than a couple of days and would love a great pool I’d highly recommend this hotel for families. It has a great spa, too! Oh and it included an incredible breakfast buffet everyday that came with your room rate.

There are a million restaurants you could try. We had three stand outs and they are Pianostrada, Taverna Trilussa, and Emma. We had a reservation at Pierluigi for our last night that we ended up canceling b/c we were in the mood for something casual, but I wanted to mention it because it came highly recommended from a few friends that I trust and I’m sure it would have been a favorite. In general I loved the Trastevere neighborhood the most!

Last piece of advice is to leave plenty of time to just relax and wander and explore. Especially if you’re traveling with teens! Eat all the pizza and gelato that you pass that calls your name. It was a fabulous trip and I can’t wait to go back to Italy and explore some more!

This Amazon dress is such a steal you guys. It’s only $22 right now. It has the best little flow and twirl to it, and the colors are so pretty together. I have a size medium and I’d say it’s true to size!

Wearing:

pink palm dress, green Gucci sandals

stripe waist tie dress, roller clips, fish top and shorts set, ivory ribbed dress,

metallic sandals, shady beach pillow, pink knit dress, green swimsuit, portable charger,

paradise dress, green stripe dress, RMS mist, Mouse Town book, black mini dress

If you followed my Rome stories then you’re already familiar with that portable charger. It Is Amazing. It just plugs right into the wall so it’s easy to charge up, an then it has 3 different charging cords built into it, it charges it all! I ordered that pink knit mini dress! Lots of colors and so cute. The black mini dress is such a good basic to have on hand and comes in so many colors. Those metallic sandals are fab and a great price.

Good morning! We are home from our spring break trip to Rome with the kids and it was just the best time. I’ll be sure to put up a recap post this week to share what we loved! Today I want to talk about the Shopbop Big Event Sale that just launched and share some of my favorites! You get up to 25% off your purchase with the code STYLE.

blue terrycloth dress, raffia sandals, red floral top, long pink dress,

purple long sleeve dress, blue floral mini, blue stripe dress, blue mini dress,

blue skirt, denim cut offs, green dress, block printed dress

I have those sandals and to me there just isn’t a more versatile flattering sandal that looks good with dresses. I love that light blue terrycloth mini dress up in the top row, and that blue floral mini in the middle row. It’s the perfect time to get some new denim cut offs and these are always a fave. I size up. And isn’t that red floral top sweet?
