In honor of being away in the Bahamas right now I thought it would be fitting to share a beachy home tour with you. This Sullivan’s Island (right outside of Charleston) home belongs to Steve & Lynne Hamontree. It was designed by the immensely talented Cortney Bishop (also a Sullivan’s Island girl). The details are amazing and I think y’all are going to love it, too!

Y’all know how I love a lot of white with a lot of color!

This room!! Love the color on the walls.

And isn’t this just about the perfect bedside situation?

Not only does Lynne Hamontree have a kick butt home, she also happens to be a talented artist – check out her site here. Her pieces also sell at Charleston Artist Collective, one of my favorite art sources.

I’ve pulled a lot of pieces to shop the look below. You may need to refresh your page for the widget to show up.

  9. […] Look Linger Love created a beautiful tour of a Sullivan’s Island home that had a kitchen that really caught my eye.  The wood shelves against the white planked walls and the marble counter tops make a stunning focal point.  Again the use of stacking and grouping like items really makes this shelving unit functional as well as pretty.  […]

I would also love to know the color of the kitchen cabinets as I am about to start a kitchen remodel? Is there any way to find out?

I LOVE the open shelving in the kitchen. Can you tell me the type of wood you used and the color of the stain/finish? thank you!

Just wondering if you might have a photo that better shows the bottom of the stair case. I think what your friends seem to have done might be just the solution we need in a home we’re about to start building.
