I think I’ve started to write this post a million times and never get around to finishing it. But finally here it is… my favorite beauty products (but not make up, that’s a whole other post). The older I get the more I get into beauty products. I have a big collection, but wanted to pull out a few of my most favorite products to share with y’all.

Kate Spade Cosmetic Case: Josh gave me this case, along with a smaller matching one, for our 2nd Christmas together. So I’ve had it for 6 years. Point being, Kate Spade puts out quality.

Bamboo Luminous Shine Shampoo & Conditioner: I’ve never had a shampoo and conditioner leave my hair as clean as this brand. It doesn’t feel weighted down, just normal. That’s what I like.

Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover: I’ve used this make up remover for probably 5+ years. I’ve never found one I like better. Plus I can easily grab it at Target or wherever.

SkinCeuticals Face Wash: Simple and effective face wash that I can use daily. Doesn’t dry out my skin.

Chanel Hydra Beauty Gel Eye Cream: The skin around my eyes can get dry and I like this cream b/c it perfectly hydrates without being too heavy.

SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic Treatment: I have been using this stuff for a year and I swear it has improved the appearance of my skin. I’m hooked.

Venus Spa Breeze: Okay so this may not be the best razor you’ll ever use BUT I love it b/c shaving cream isn’t necessary it does actually keep me shaving way more often than I would with a normal razor. It’s just fast and quick.

Sephora Lip Balm: I put this on every morning and every night. Sometimes in the afternoon, too. I’m addicted to chapstick.

Batiste Dry Shampoo: I love this dry shampoo b/c it’s really effective and is very inexpensive. I use it most everyday because I have oily hair.

Oribe Texturing Spray: This stuff is hair magic. I’m only on my 2nd bottle but am hooked. It gives the best texture and volume. Trust me. Plus it smells like Heaven.

Clarisonic: I forgot to pull it out for the picture but I use my Clarisonic every single night before bed. Every single night. I couldn’t live without it. I have the mia, but they’re all great.

If you had to name one favorite beauty product, what would it be??? Mine would be face lotion, but I’ve yet to find the “perfect”. Any recomendations?

  1. I just saw a friend in san fran and her skin looked so good that I had to ask her what was she using. She said it was all thanks to a SK II lotion. Pricey, but I’m telling ya, her skin was flawless, radiant and youthfull! So you bet I’m going to save the bucks for it ;)

  2. Great post! For face lotion I actually like Eucerin its cheap at the drug store my derm recommended it. It goes on smoothly and has spf. I also love that Oribe texturizing spray!

  3. Chassity says:

It’s a great miracle product. xoxo

  4. Chassity says:

When I finish my eye cream I’ll have to try the skin ceuiticals!

  5. Chassity says:

Coconut oil! Yes I hear great things. need to try it still.

  6. Chassity says:

Kate, that one is amazing – it’s so cheap too. And yes that spray is the bomb.

  7. Chassity says:

I feel like La Mer but be the bomb. I’ve never tried and am dying too.

  8. Chassity says:

Good to hear. Thanks for sharing Sarah.

  9. Chassity says:

Sometimes I grab the generic too. It’s the best. And I use vaseline on my kids’ chapped faces too – it’s a miracle cream.

  10. Chassity says:

Hmmmmm. Very interesting. I might have to give it a try.

  11. Chassity says:

I’ve heard good things about Arbonne.

  12. Chassity says:

    Awesome, thanks for the suggestions!

  13. I coincidentally just got the same hair spray and ADORE it- such a fine mist and makes my fine/oily hair stay perfectly in place without feeling weighed down- love! Great list!

  14. Allison says:

Always love to hear recommendations on beauty products! I have very dry sensitive skin and am always on the hunt for a better moisturizer than I’m using. My absolute favorite eye cream is the Skin Ceuticals Eye Balm. I have tried so many and always go back to this one. What a fun cosmetic bag Chassity!

  15. Oribe is my jam…can’t get enough of it! And I need to try the Chanel eye cream, I’m with you on the dryness! You should try coconut oil as a facial moisturizer, it’s amazing!

  16. Really enjoyed these recommendations! I’m always asking for dry shampoo favorites I will have to try that one! And I’m obsessed with the oribe texturing spray too! A little bit goes a long way too!

  17. Barbara says:

Depends on your skin type and the amount of money you want to spend but my two all time favorites since I have dry skin is La Mer soft creme and Lancome Absolue L’extrait, but for everyday normal prices I go with Kiehl’s Creme d’elegance repairateur. Most department stores will be glad to give samples of any moisturizer.

  18. I’ve never really tried any of the Origins products, but I won their GinZing energy-boosting moisturizer in a giveaway on another blog, and now I’m hooked! It’s super lightweight and the citrus smell is crazy invigorating. I use it morning and night, but I especially love the wake-up in the morning!

  19. Alyson says:

I have used that eye makeup remover for years too and sometimes get the generic at Target and Walmart and find that it works just as well. I really like Olay Regenerist Serum and the Cereve Day Moisturizer because it has zinc in the sunscreen. Also, use plain old Vaseline for everything from eye cream to my kid’s chapped faces and boo-boo repair!

  20. Caroline says:

I have recently become OBSESSED with Josie Maran Argan Oil. I feel like my skin is glowing and I haven’t been wearing any kind of foundation or tinted moisturizer and in this weather, that’s saying something!! I first tried the little $14 tester bottle from Sephora and just recently graduated to the full size.

  21. Kendra says:

My skin gets pretty dry, and face lotion would definitely have to be my fav! I’ve been using Arbonne for a while and I really love it. It doesn’t go on “oily” and it keeps my face hydrated all day!

  22. WHB says:

Great List. I do love Perricone MD products. I use the Concentrated Restorative Cream at night. A must have facial scrub is Suki exfoliate foaming cleanser. This stuff is amazing!! I have olive colored skin and if I ever get a blemish it takes forever to go away and leaves a dark mark for months!
I use that Bamboo Shampoo/Conditioner sometimes and love it – currently hooked on Organix Biotin & Collagen.
