I just can’t get enough of Halloween this year.  I definitely chalk it up to being a Momma to a sweet little girl who is all about it too.  So here’s how we’ve been getting into the spirit these days.

{Pardon the safety gate…}
This is the first time that I’ve really decorated for Halloween.  We have little festive touches everywhere, or at least it feels like it.  But I won’t bore you with it all.  Since Lilly’s having a Halloween party, we’ve been having some fun with it and celebrating all month.  And remember my cry for help over the ROBOOOT costume?  Well Josh came to the rescue and made a little something…

It even lights up!  We tried the box part on Lilly just to see how it fits, and sadly, Lilly doesn’t like it.
Yep, those are tears!  I didn’t know if I should feel worse for Lilly or for Josh.  Good thing I have a back up “Pebbles” costume.

I also plan to watch some “spirited” movies like Practical Magic and Hocus Pocus!  I’m a total wimp and watching a scary movie will give me sleepless nights for a week…

{Practical Magic}

And I’ll also continue binge eating candy, reading Lilly her favorite halloween books, and will hopefully get around to the pumpkin patch this weekend and will def wear a version of this…

And then go carve drill up some of these beauties!

{Thank you Martha Stewart}
Bam!  Halloweened.

I’m so sorry about the sweet robot- I’m having a similar problem- I always make my little ones costumes and for the first time red wants a store bought cheapie…makes me so sad. Oh and I NEED that skirt, plaid shirt to wear as well- LOVE it!!!!

All time favorite Halloween flick (c: Love all the darling Halloween touches…it really doesn’t get super fun to decorate until the little ones can enjoy it, too…that was when I turned in to a crazy Halloween lady (c: I’m pretty sure Lilly will be darling in any costume, but that robot was so sweet! Josh is such a good daddy!

    Great decorations. I especially love the bats in the kitchen. Does it make me a bad mom that I didn’t decorate at all besides two pumpkins? Oh and if you want you can totally borrow my huge tutu skirt to wear to the pumpkin patch! Im wearing it today to run errands but its yours after that:) Tutu skirts are just so practical!
