What do these furry friends have in common? They all need a loving home. Every day Pet Helpers works tirelessly to ensure that these guys and thousands of their friends live happy and safe lives. They have been a no kill shelter since the 1970’s, a very rare thing! By providing food, shelter, and medical care Pet Helpers is making a real difference in the Lowcountry. Being a private, non-profit rescue and adoption center they naturally depend on community support. And this February 22nd you can make a difference and have a great time by attending their A Night At The Oscars party.

Feeling the heart strings tug? I encourage you to check out Pet Helpers’ site to learn more. Or stop by the shelter and pick up some Harry Barker gear. Every little bit counts, even if it’s just staying informed. Hope some of you locals can make it to the party!

I adopted Misty, doggie in the middle pic with the sweater, on Monday and am so thankful that this organization and its sponsors were able to provide care for her until we met. She is the perfect dog and I couldn’t be happier!
