These are Christian Siriano for Payless. Yes, really. The collection is due out in September. And it’s good.

I have a major decision to make. The really awesome kind that I feel super lucky to get to make. You see, Rugs USA wants to give me a rug. Yep, I get to pick out a rug, let it live in my house, and review it for you all. I know, lucky. Especially considering that we’re currently renovating a new house — aka I need some more rugs!!

So I’ve been spending a lot of time perusing their collections.  I didn’t think I’d have such a hard time making a decision. There are a lot of pretties over there.

These kind of make me weak in the knees as I’m all about the saturated rug right now. Right now Rugs USA is having a 35% off sale so you could get one of these Winsdor Overdyed Grove rugs in the 8×10 size for under $400. Take that Anthropologie! :)

But I also love a good pattern too… Always adore the blocks rug and how cute is this southwestern patterned rug.
But then I think a fun stripe or chevron would be perfect.

Seriously, all amazing. And they all come in a lot of different colors and sizes. There are a ton more pretty rugs on their site too. I’m leaning towards putting this rug in the kids’ playroom. It’ll be right off of the main living area of our new home, so it needs to look pretty.

Which one do you think I should pick?
And let’s talk about how awesome Rug USA is!

It’s been awhile since I’ve shared a hodgepodge post… Here are some recent thoughts, happenings, and whatevs.

I’ve been spending time painting… and absolutely loving it. Here’s a peek at a few. I’m actually not sure that I’m finished with these yet. We’ll see.

The awesome peeps at Clarisonic were sweet enough to send me a new Clarisonic Mia so that I can get my clean face on. I’ve been DYING to try this miracle product for so long, just never really got around to getting one. I’ve only used it 4 days now so I can’t give you a full on review just yet, but I can say that I already LOVE it. Where has it been all my life?? Do you guys use a Clarisonic?

My hair grows soooo slowly and I love having some length to it, but this picture kinda makes me want to chop it off. (I’m not going to, yet anyway.)

And speaking of hair, a few weeks ago I bought one of those clamp free curling rods. Again, where has it been all my life? So easy, loose waves, and no clip marks on my hair. I just got a $30 one and think it works great!
I have to share my sweet girl in her Marysia Swim Bumby Swimsuit at the beach last weekend. How cute!

Anyone know where this picture is from. Okay, more importantly, where can I buy this wallpaper?? Love this room.

After seeing Alex’s new china, I’m dying to sell mine and buy up a mix of Kelly Wearstler’s by Pickard.

I am SO proud of my girl Melissa over at Veranda Interiors. She and her husband just won a Sam Award for a home project they built last year. She’s so darn talented and I just know she’ll sweep the awards next year when she can enter some of her more recent projects like this one… Congrats Melissa! You are the bomb and I SOOOO appreciate your input you’ve shared with me on my current home renovation :)

And to end on an extra pretty “gimmie gimmie” note, I want this Phillip Lim dress SO BAD.

That’s all. Feels good to get all that out :)

I love pinning recipes. Some I make, some I don’t, but I never tire of looking. Here are a few recipes that I’ve recently made.

{Awesome side dish. Josh doesn’t like cauliflower and even he liked this.}

{This is the bomb and couldn’t be easier to make. A new regular dish at our house.}
{My friend Natalie first introduced this to me and we’ve made it several times. So good!}

{This recipe goes a long way and is easy to make too. Yeah, I like simple recipes.}

And here’s a few I’m hoping to try out soon…
Now I’m hungry. Have anything I need to try?

I am a major Troubadour fan. Lindsey Carter’s spring collection is just so crazy gorgeous. Unique, incredibly well made, just beautiful. Every time I wear a piece I get so many compliments. Let’s review…

Here I am with Lindsey wearing the Halsey Linen Skirt.

And a close up of my skirt so you can see the full length…

Pleated pretty. Okay, next up is the Hewes Stripe Top. It is the cutest little thing and so feminine. I love it.

In fact, I love the Hewes Top so much that Lindsey lent me the white basket weave version for my Skirt! photo shoot feature, along with the super gorgeous Willoughby Skirt. Love Love Love.

Isn’t it so pretty?? Well Troubadour’s online shop is stocked up… Just saying… :)
