I stumbled upon the most adorable budget friendly home collection on Bed Bath & Beyond yesterday. One Kings Lane designed an exclusive collection for them and it has total OKL vibes on a BBB budget! I’m especially loving all of the raffia wrapped furniture pieces like this coffee table, this console table, and this bedside table. Also that tassel table lamp is so cute!

Happy Monday. How was your weekend? Our’s was nice, same ol same ol :) Yesterday was a very rainy day and I used the time to work on this Budget Babe round up of cute finds under $50. This BB Dakota dress that I’m wearing in the photo below, which is one of my most favorites dresses and is so comfortable to wear, is on sale for $35!

Wearing:

black floral smocked mini dress (also available here),

woven bag, pink velvet loafers

A lot of cute dresses and casual pieces here! Isn’t that black floral midi dress beautiful? It’s smocked in the bodice like all the designer styles right now but is only $30!

Okay the chambray tiered dress – perfection. That floaty white swiss dot off shoulder dress – so pretty. The nude double strap flat sandals – super easy and versatile. That pink embroidered dress – adorable. And the linen button down spaghetti strap midi dress are summer classics. Perfect for a hot sticky day.

Happy Friday! Looks like it will be a beautiful day here in Charleston, I hope it’s nice and sunny wherever you are as well. This past week I’ve been saving lots of favorite finds and I’ve organized and am sharing a lot of them in today’s post! 12 things we could all use right now!

I’ve blogged about these waterproof Freedom Moses sandals before. They’re now available at Tuckernuck which is especially fun to get to see how they style them (because they’re the queens of styling). They’re just $40 and a total no-brainer!

J.Crew just came out and made our week with these comfy, slouchy linen drawstring shorts. Quarantine uniform plus so super cute that they’ll still be your favorite shorts once we are all out and about again, too. Bonus, they’re 40% off with the code APRIL.

Sporty sandals! I’m loving this trend for summer. A comfortable sandal that you can walk in that still looks cool with your dresses. From left to right: tie dye, black, white floral, leopard.

Everlane’s new swingy, wrinkle resistant top is most definitely going to be one of their most popular/evergreen styles (at least it better be evergreen!). I love all of these colors. That red is so vibrant and the chocolate shade is so rich and pretty.

A swingy shirtdress is always a good idea! Feels like pajamas but is appropriate for most anything. Love the white!

These are the little weight wraps that I have that I love so much – they’re great for walks around the neighborhood or to throw on during your workout for a little something extra!!

At the beginning of quarantine we finally broke down and ordered blue light blocking glasses for all of us in our family. I think it was the idea of the kids now doing all their school work on screens that made us do it. But we ordered ORANGE by TIJN glasses and they’re just so great. There are a ton of shapes, styles, and colors and they’re super affordable and on Amazon Prime. Like $20. Easiest decision.

You all know how much I love a one piece swimsuit paired with a sarong. How cute is this block print one?!!

Did you know that J.Crew makes workout leggings? Yep. In all their high waisted glory. Plus they’re 40% off with the code APRIL.

Okay these are no regular masks. These are a donation to No Kid Hungry and Mt. Sinai Hospital. You get a cute mask made with Tuckernuck designed fabric and then 100% of the proceeds go to the charities. Lovely idea, Tuckernuck

Tie dye is the jam right now. I like that these tie dye tees have a casual washed out vibe to them. Plus they’re 40% off with the code APRIL.

Are we ending with my most favorite of all? Basically. Joggers are OBVIOUSLY what we all are living in most of the time and I don’t know about you but I deserve a fresh pair. Mine are tired. These are cute. From top left clockwise: grey, black, stripe, and navy. Plus they’re 40% off with the code APRIL.

Let’s make getting outside in our yards a little more fun, shall we? I’ve rounded up 12 finds and house updates from Target for our outdoor dinners and family time.

This coral dining set is not only gorgeous, its also rust proof and weather/fade resistant! It’s like out of a magazine gorgeous.

That’s one beautiful hammock don’t you think? I love the yellow paired with the pink tassels! Would be cute hung inside, too.

No pool no problem. Have y’all seen all the amazing pool additions on instagram. Above ground pools are trending :) I mean, why not!

How cute is this front entry?! That block print doormat is super cute, and I love those black planters.

Sometimes the simple things bring the most joy and this watermelon slip n slide is undeniably adorable!

This faux rattan wrapped stainless steel chair set is like all the pretty scenes we see in magazines, but on a Target budget. YES please.

My kids are obsessed with their razor scooters and ride them on our porch and around the neighborhood. I even have one myself, ha! They’re so fun! And how cool is this light up one?

If you’re feeling desperate and splurgy then a backyard playground is ALWAYS a winner. And you’ll always have a comeback for when the kids say they’re bored.

This is the chair everyone will fight over. Also it has the best customer inspiration photos (see them here).

If we had a paved driveway (our’s is rock) then we would definitely have a basketball goal. I grew up with one and have so many memories that involve it. Plus it’s also an activity that Dads can hardly turn down ;) Reminds me, I need to watch Father of the Bride again soon.

I have a lot of mixed feelings around trampolines because they can be so dangerous but NO one can dispute that they are fun. And good exercise. This trampoline comes in a few different sizes (and is bigger than this picture makes it look) and comes with the sides already.

Here’s another magazine worthy porch look on a Target budget. This French bistro dining set comes with 6 woven bistro armchairs and a wooden dining table. Probably my favorite find in this whole post.

I have a new artist spotlight today on Susan Hable! Susan is Georgia based and is both a designer and an artist, which should come as no surprise when looking through her work. Her pieces are easily incorporated into interiors of all sorts – with prints for both big impact or simple, smaller layers. I love the black and whites as much as the color. Here are a few of my favorite pieces, but truthfully this is just the tip of the iceberg.

These prints all come framed and are ready to hang. My eye is first drawn to this branchy-floral print. And this piece is so cool I feel like it’s museum quality and looks vintage.

Check out more of Susan Hable’s pieces right here!

If you’re anything like me you’ve always been a little interested in the behind the scenes of a product shoot. So today I wanted to share my experience with our first Sohp Shop photoshoot! We shot with Charleston photographer Leigh Weber, one of my most favorite photographers ever. She’s the talent behind the underwater photos you see all over the internet. I wanted the first shoot to be fairly laid back and flexible, so we did it at our house over the course of two days. We needed studio photography for our website, simple product shots with a white background along with a good mix of styled product shots as well as some photos with kids. We set up a little studio in both our family room and our sunroom, and it was truly the most fun and stress free experience.

So I’m just going to share some behind the scenes iPhone snaps along with a few of the shots that Leigh captured. As you can see in the photo below, I had to be kinda quick because Lilly didn’t like me double-shooting. When she caught me I think she actually said, “Mooom Leigh’s taking the photos”.

We asked two of our friends, Georgia and Grace, to come help out and be in some photos. We were supposed to have one more model too but she wasn’t feeling well the day of so we will hopefully get to include her next time.

These girls were fantastic. Lilly had the idea to throw confetti and they turned out to be some of my most favorite shots from the shoot! We really just played around a lot and tried anything.

Leigh managed to get Fletch to take a few photos, too!

Lilly styling…

Grace showed up with the cutest sparkly manicure. She probably went to The Water Room. Adorable.

There are a lot more photos on our site – check ’em out! I wanted lots of photos in our product listings, I think that’s the blogger in me. I’m already excited to do another shoot with Leigh. She’s just so talented and the most calming, kind person to have by your side. Which is exactly what you want in a potentially high anxiety situation. I can’t thank you enough, Leigh!

And shameless plug – your kids want Sohp Shop! Your neighbor’s kids want Sohp Shop. Your friends and co-worker’s kids want Sohp Shop. We are a clean soap for kids that is not only non-toxic, but is also super FUN. Every ball of soap has a surprise toy hidden inside, making hand washing a whole lot more fun! Dreamed up by a kid, for kids. Check out our Sohp Shop website here!
