Happy 2017! We are trying to get back into the swing of things over here. Lilly headed back to school this morning but Fletch starts tomorrow. We had a great NYE over at Gray’s and all (including the kids) had a fun time.

I’ve been thinking about some “resolutions” for the new year and thought I’d share them here. Some are more important than others…

  • Rotate the side I lay on when on the couch. Seriously, it must be effing up my back, right??
  • Try new exercises. I love going to the gym but could use some new ideas to incorporate. Anyone have any fun sites or app suggestions?
  • Stock up on safe, organic tampons. This past year I’ve made so many clean beauty swaps, it’s time to find a safer tampon now.
  • Stop letting my gas tank get below 50 miles to empty.  You guys, my SUV takes diesel and it isn’t always easy to find…
  • More family days at the beach. We live here for God’s sake.
  • Keep a glass of water nearby all hours of the day. So this will be pretty easy as other than coffee in the morning, water is all I drink. But I want to make an effort to up my intake for all of the vain reasons.
  • Get more facials. More vain goals, but I’m not getting any younger…
  • Be more active when I travel. I always pack my workout gear and ALWAYS skip the workout.
  • Quit biting my nails for the 500th time. This one will probably be my hardest goal… I know it’s so gross.
  • Spend more time at 167 Raw eating lobster rolls.
  • Answer my phone calls. I’m not proud to admit that I rarely answer my phone. I need to pick it up and start having more personal interactions instead of just texting back. This will be a hard one for me, too.
  • Find a healthy snack that I actually like and keep it stocked at all times. I don’t know what this is going to be but am open suggestions. Maybe something that tastes like Doritos? Any ideas?
  • Use idle time more productively. So much time wasted looking at my phone… Playing a quick game with the kids, picking up the house, or doing laundry would all be better ideas.
  • Declutter. So I actually really enjoy purging stuff so this one will be fun. But somehow things have gotten out of hand over here and I need to get organized.
  • Entertain at home more. I always say I’m going to do it and never follow through. It’s just so easy to go out to a great restaurant.

Would love to hear your resolutions, too! Have a great Monday!

I love your resolution to eat more lobster rolls at 167… I’ll have to add that to my list too!

Loved your list and read it twice. So many of these things cross my mind too. Here’s my honest to goodness resolution: Have more confidence. Believe things will go right instead of wrong. Worry less. Remember the days when I always believed the glass was half full.

But finding a Dorito flavored snack food would be awesome too. Keep us posted.
