When HP & Intel asked me to partner up to try out their new HP Stream Tablet with Intel Inside® I was totally game. I am the only one in my family that doesn’t have a tablet. Even my three year old has one. So I’ve been having some fun taking it around town to my favorite spots and staying connected to my blog.

HP Stream is a new kind of tablet with Intel Inside. It simplifies my day in that I can easily log into my wordpress account from anywhere to write up quick posts or even just surf the web. The HP Stream Tablet has free 4G data right out of the box so I never have to worry about wi-fi access. And it has lightning fast performance thanks to Intel.

For me, the whole upside to having this HP Stream Tablet with Intel Inside® is that I can easily take it with me to any of my happy spots to access my online world. I’m all for simplifying my life.

Cliche, but I love a red shirt for the holidays. I love a red shirt anytime, really. I wear so much black and white that it’s a nice change up.

I can’t remember if we’ve ever talked about the J.Crew minnie pant so excuse me if you’ve heard this all before, but it’s one of my most favorite pants in my closet and gets a lot of wear. I’ve had this black pair since before I was pregnant with Fletcher. Comfy, simple, and a great fabric that doesn’t fade or get worn down easily.

I broke down and ordered the LR Remy pumps in blush. They’re practically giving them away at Piperlime thanks to their sale and I love my other black and white Remy’s. This blush is the perfect neutral pink. Les Nouvelle also has them marked down real low and has more sizes.

Hands down one of our most used toys in our house is our play kitchen and all of it’s fun play food and accessory pieces. Both of my kids love playing with this and have for years. They regularly set up picnics and parties, or “snacks” for us or for their stuffed animals. Such an imaginative way to play. Today only The Land of Nod is offering 20% off all kitchen and grocery items. Every year we add new play foods to our set to keep things fresh. Here are some of my favorites.

My suggestion is to go take a look around and don’t be afraid to dig deep. There is a lot of good stuff hidden in there that I found after pulling together this collage. Don’t forget to use code “EXTRASALE”.

I hope you all had a nice weekend. Mine was really great filled with lots of holiday parties, a lovely brunch with girl friends, and the Christmas parade with friends. I’m a little exhausted and while this week isn’t offering much of a break, that’s okay because ’tis the season. I love it.

So this morning’s post is about my love for kantha throws. Well, any throws really. But I love the color and patterns that a kantha can so easily bring to a room. I have a bunch in my house. They’re great for beds, thrown over furniture, used a tree skirt, for picnics in the park…

And here’s a picture of one of mine over my sofa.

One Kings Lane just launched a big kantha sale and there are so many pretty ones.

Check out the whole sale here.
