It’s still hot and humid in Charleston but my Fall wishlist is growing anyway, here are some of the items I’ve been favoriting for the in-between months and cool nights.
This past Friday our family took a fabulous little staycation here in Charleston in the heart of downtown at Emeline. I’ve stayed there before with girlfriends, and the kids really wanted to do it, too, so when Emeline offered to host us I couldn’t turn it down! Living in Charleston is wonderful and there are so many things we take advantage of daily, but staying downtown and being in the thick of it really switches things up and feels special.
We stayed in a suite with two kings and a separate living room with a sofa that pulls out into a bed for extra space. The rooms are decorated really cool and come with a record player with a special “house mix”!
Upon unpacking Lilly informed us that she purposely “forgot” to pack pajamas so that we’d have to go to Lake for a new pair. I mean, I’ll admit I was impressed with her scheme. Luckily King Street is right there and totally walkable. These are her new fall pajamas she picked out.
After some downtown shopping we got ready for dinner downstairs at Frannie & The Fox, a spot I go to a lot for girls nights. I’m obsessed with their burnt honey pizza – I order it every time!
One last shot of the pretty hotel. My favorite part of Emeline is the lobby spaces, and shop, and restaurants (both Clerks and Frannie & The Fox). It’s just a fun space to be in. If you’re looking for a lovely hotel in a great location downtown Charleston I totally recommend Emeline!!
I took my new oval leather crossbody bag to Post House last night and Josh very very begrudgingly took this fast photo for me, lol. But it’s actually a great shot of my new bag so maybe he actually knows what he’s doing.
I adore the mini oval shape and it’s the perfect size with the prettiest simple details. And it comes in a few color options! I also love the black and the white so much, too.

Oh man this round up today makes me happy. I mean, so many pretty things on my wishlist for our new house. How great is that coffee table with the drawer storage?! And that RUG?!
I have an all new Amazon Favorite round up today, including the blender that was recommended to me on Instagram by y’all yesterday! It’s beautiful enough to leave on the counter, too!
Lastly, it may seem like a weird addition for one of my Amazon round ups but we were recently at a friends and they had the Oculus Virtual Reality Headset and you guys, it’s so freaking cool. Check out the video here, such a fun gift for Christmas (not that I’m an early shopper and have started any of that).
