I don’t know how it’s looking where you all are but here in Charleston our kids won’t be back in school (and probably virtually, at least to start) until September! My kids are not all bummed out, summer break is pretty great even in these Covid times, but having some fun activities and things to do make it a whole lot easier on me. This whole post is inspired by the most amazing kit that we found for Lilly that is literally alllll she wants to do or talk about right now. I even have to admit it’s pretty cool and I’d be obsessed if I were a kid, too!

This Puffy Charms DIY Kit is basically the coolest kit we’ve gotten yet. I swear this isn’t sponsored, ha! We just love it so much that I feel it’s my duty to spread the word. There are 250 different charms to make, and to make them you just stick together the puffy stickers and add the little loop. So it’s easy to do and there are so many possibilities. You can make bracelets, necklaces, anklets, key charms, bag charms, pencils, shoe lace charms…

So adorable. And because more is always more around here, here are some more great ideas to keep your kids entertained in the many weeks ahead! I love them all!

That Zip Line is currently 30% off on Amazon! And you guys have to click over and see those Neighborly Notes, seriously SO cute!!! Lil and Fletcher would love these, especially right now. If your kids haven’t read the Wayside Stories books then let this be your nostalgic reminder. They’re so funny, and easily one of Fletcher’s favorite set of books he has read! The reusable Waterballs are like water balloons but softer, way easier and way better for the planet. Lastly, right now Lilly is really into making smoothie popsicles! They’re the perfect healthy summer treat! Happy weekend, Everyone!

Accessories never get boring to me. They’re the pieces that take a simple outfit to cool. And while this round up consists of some of my favorite accessories for right now, so many of these pieces could be pulled into fall, too. Like this cute headband and these statement stud earrings (would be so chic with a chunky sweater).

I’m really into cute blue light blocking glasses right now. These are at Anthropologie and only $28. I’m also loving Quay’s assortment, too. Maybe I should make a whole post out of this. Also, I LOVE these ballet flats and they’d be great for Fall. And then these earrings, so obsessed.

Have a great, day!!

That tie dye dress is so cool, isn’t it? That tutti fruity necklace is on sale, I’ve been eyeing it and am pretty sure I’ve blogged about it before. I LOVE that navy romper. And this cotton swingy dress is perfect for hot August which is looming over us all.

I have a few of these things, like the beauty blenders, the hair dryer brush, and the cordless vacuum! And the Yeti rambler, you can never really have too many of these. We could use some new baking/cookie sheets. And those knives are supposed to be awesome. The back twist tank top is super cute and comes in a lot of color options.

Happy Monday. We were in the mountains for a long weekend doing a family camp for the kids and it was amazing and I am exhausted. We were with two other families and we all had such a great time. The kids needed it. We all did. Of course it feels good to be home and get organized again! I wanted to make sure you all saw that J.Crew is having a big 40% off your purchase promo happening right now! This includes their new arrivals and all the cute things I’ve been eying like this adorable swingy cover up dress.

House plants… They bring so much joy. A little color, a little texture, cleaner air, a little life… All of the plants featured today could be in any room in the house, but I thought it might be fun to focus on a room that we might not always think about, bathrooms!

This photo above is my bathroom featured in Real Simple Magazine circa 4 years ago. That tree is no longer in my bathroom but I think I need to bring one back, it looks so good. Here are some more inspiring bathroom photos (with plants).

This pancake plant is my favorite! Followed very closely by the glossy philodendron plant! And you can never ever go wrong with an orchid! Just pop in 3 ice cubes weekly! The perfect house chore for kids!
