I knooooooow. It’s so summer right now, how can I possibly be talking about fall. But all the new arrivals are making me think about it, just a little bit. Here are 16 favorite neutral pieces that have you pretty much ready for anything.

booties, clutch, embroidered tunic, stripe knit poncho,

black leather dress, grey fringe poncho, cheetah flats,

chanel, grey sweater dress, fringe poncho, cutout sweater,

check shirt, cream sweater, black/white top, puffer coat

The grey and white stripe poncho, grey sweater dress, and black and white top are all in the mail. Couldn’t stop myself. All about the ponchos. And I really love the cut and angle on that puffer coat – isn’t it neat? All of the lace up flats are so fun right now and this cheetah pair is my current favorite. And that layered cream sweater is back again this season, because it really is so good!

And anyone else in love with that embroidered tunic up there by Free People? They’ve been killing it lately.

About a swing out chambray dress today. Here she is.

chambray swing out dress,

loeffler randall slides,  pink necklace

I’ve worn this dress probably 5 times in the last 3 weeks (is that gross?). Every other time has been unbelted, and I think it like it best unbelted. Buuuuut just in case you like to cinch…

PS, really loving this Empire State Finery pink necklace!

We’re nearing the end of Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale and don’t you know that I not only found  some restocked favorites, but some new to sale items, too!

green coat, chloe tote, black swing dress, pink coat,

black sandals, red dress, blue/black sandals,

black cardi, asymmetrical cable knit sweater, brown coat,

red sandals, stripe tee, grey d’Orsay pumps, chloe tote

Naturally, most everything comes in different colors. Like that freaking amazing Chloe bag that they actually re-stocked. And the red sandals and grey pumps. Isn’t that green coat cute? It’s under $40 and is also available in more colors. But y’all know what my most favorite is… the asymmetrical cable knit sweater.

In a rousing edition of “what’s in my bag” – check out my beach things.

stripe tote c/o,  marsyia suit, a chick read, tortoise sunglasses, straw hat

Okay so maybe this is the first “what’s in my bag”, but whatever. Inspired by my new customizable tote bag. You can choose your pattern, your color, or even a monogram if you’re into it. It’s also water resistent, making it cool for the beach or pool.

I’ve talked about Minted’s new Art Marketplace before (this post comes to mind). It’s the perfect mix of paintings and photographs from cool, independent makers. And everything is available in a multitude of sizes and frames. You can even have them signed by the artist. So easy. Fletcher needed a big art piece to go over his dresser so I narrowed down a few pieces for him to choose from. You can imagine my glee when he chose this Men in Red at the Louvre print.

Granted, I really loved all of the options I gave him. I thought for sure he’d choose this Wave on Film photograph. There are so many fun pieces – here are a few of my favorites.

Fletch loves his new piece and wants us to take him to Paris some day to visit. Fine by me. :) Check out Minted’s amazing Art Marketplace. And to get you started, check out these makers’ collections – Kristi Kohut, Mathew Sampson, and Annie Seaton.

PS, I’m wearing this dress again.

Oh the weather outside is frightful (frightfully hot), but you could still look soooo delightful.

Okay so that royal blue maxi dress is amazing. And that pom pom tote – so fun! All of it.
