Look Linger Love

Today my baby girl turns one.  Where did the time go?!  This past year has been filled with the happiest moments of my life.  Lilly, you brighten every day for me.  I’m the luckiest Momma in the world. 

At just ten days old you already meant the world to me.  I was overwhelmed, scared, and on cloud nine.  I still am all of these things, but I now know we can get through anything together.  I look forward to each and every day with you, and love you more than you could ever even imagine.

I thought you might like to see some of the photos from Lilly’s one year photoshoot with our beloved photographer, Gray Benko.  We chose the fair as the backdrop for our little charmer.

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE wallpaper?  If I haven’t then I’m surprised that I have not yet snuck it in.  Unfortunately, my husband is not a fan.  We’ve compromised and have one room in our home that is wallpapered, a powder room.  (But I have more plans friends, shhhh.) 
So today I’m delighting us all in the beauty of some majorly chic powder rooms that are taken to the next level by some pretty paper.



Just a quick glimpse at J.Crew’s Spring 2011 collection. 

I’ve been shopping around for some new bedding in our master bedroom.  We currently have blue Pottery Barn quilted bedding that I love; but we’ve had it long enough and it’s time for a change.  There are decisions to be made… Do I switch it up and go with a pattern this time (I think I probably will).  Duvet vs. quilt?  Color scheme? 
You see the choices I have ahead of me.  While I really love the look of duvets best, I think I’ll probably have to go with a quilt again because for me they are just easier to maintain.

So, I’ve covered that Lilly rocks leg warmers.  I’ve yet to wear them myself.  This look, however, really makes me want to start.

We had a lovely time in Virginia but boy was is cold!  Which only made me anxious for the holidays and decorating!!  I love what some simple pinecones can do for your decor, and these images have me itching to pull out my holiday decorations early.
