Happy Monday!  I’m coming off of a wonderful weekend.  My girlfriends surprised me with a baby shower and I’m feeling so loved.  Surprises are the best, and I was totally blindsided!  I hope you all had a great weekend too.

So back to our Tis The Season roundups.  I decided to put together a little something for the men, because without a doubt we want them to look good too!  November and December are always slam packed with social get togethers (yay!), so just in case the man in your life needs a few updates….  {most do, right?}  Oh, and I tried to keep things inexpensive here because we all know we have to save money for our own wardrobes!

J.Crew Shawl Sweater: Comfortable, stylish, and my bet is he’d live in this.
Gap Marled Hat: Love this and it’s really inexpensive.
J.Crew Flannel Tie: For the dressier occasions. This is my favorite tie I’ve seen this season.
J.Crew Gingham Shirt: Josh bought this shirt in 3 different colors and I LOVE them all.
J.Crew Flannel Plaid Shirt: Plaids are big this season, & I love these colors. Great for layering too.
J.Crew Vintage Cord: Again, Josh has these and they’re HOT.
Clark’s Desert Boots:  Why do so many guys wear shoes til they have holes? These are fab.
Tartan Bow Tie: Luckily, my husband loves bow ties b/c I don’t think anything beats them!
Gap Cardigan: Gorgeous, well priced sweater!
J.Crew Chambray Shirt: A must have in any man’s closet.  Josh wears his all the time.
Bowling Grace Shoes: Love this wintery take on the boat shoe.
J.Crew Tweet Sportcoat: Sportcoats are THE EASIEST and BEST way to take it up a notch.
And An Honorable Mention:

J.Crew Velvet Ludlow Sportcoat: Again, sport coats are necessary, and this gorgeous velvet one is perfect for the holiday season.  Josh’s velvet sportcoat is my favorite one he has.

PS: You may have noticed a lot of these links are J.Crew. Well they’re in the middle of another fabulous promotion: 25% off + free shipping on orders over $150 with the code STAYWARM!

So since it’s November and magazines and promos are flooding my mailbox I can’t help but get excited to start vamping up my wardrobe for the holiday season.  Do ya’ll do this too?  I’m not real sure how much buying I’ll be doing this year since I’m so far along in pregnancy, but it’s still fun to look and pick out a few things.

There are a couple of different genres that I consider to be must haves for this time of year, so I’ve decided to do some shopping round-ups of each of these groups.  Just a few things that I think would be necessary nice in my closet for the upcoming socializing (parties, dinners, dates…)  Today I’m sharing SPARKLY!

Sequin Tank: Worn casually, dressed up, endless love for this top!
Kate Spade Fingerless Gloves: Eeeeh wouldn’t these be the cutest!!  Want.
Kate Spade Brynn Bag: Perfect little black sequin bag.
J.Crew Beaded Bow Tie: The ultimate take on the menswear trend for us ladies!
Sequin Collar Top: Might be my favorite item here. Great alone or layered.
Gryphon Fete Dress: LOVE the color, shape, and scallop edging on this dress.
Gliston Court Heels: Gorgeous little sequin heels to wear with jeans, dresses…
Beaded Jacket: Must have a fancy party jacket.
Frye Studded Boot: Um, I’m obsessed with these little boots. Obsessed.
And An Honorable Mention:
A Sequin Scarf is DEFINITELY a must have for me this season!

Last week the girls at Hampden Clothing (one of my favorite downtown Charleston shops) asked me to come in and style some bump friendly outfits.   Since I come from the camp that subscribes to buying as little actual maternity clothes as possible, I was happy to stop in and play.

We put together 7 “Wear Your Baby Bump Well” looks in total that Hampden is sharing over on their blog.  Outfits range from a playdate in the park, a doctor’s visit (b/c any woman who has been pregnant knows it’s important to dress lightly for that scale!), to a date night.  They even included shopping clickables for everything you see me wearing in the photos.

And the girls at Hampden were sweet enough to give me a very generous gift certificate to do a little shopping.  I came home with this Opening Ceremony Bow Plaid top.  Love it!  I’ll definitely be able to wear this after baby boy arrives too.
So if you’d like to see more of the styling session, visit Hampden’s Blog.
Thanks girls!

I nearly rolled off the couch (b/c that’s what you do when you’re 31 weeks pregnant) when I saw this Kate Spade faux fur pullover. Is it just me, or does it look a lot like our very own Kokoon’s Audrey Faux Fur Sweatshirt??

{And I do believe Kokoon’s model is giving her the stare down…}
Yep, looks a lot alike. And guess what, Kokoon’s Audrey faux fur sweatshirt is only $239 compared to Kate Spade’s $845 price tag.
You’re Welcome :)
