Neon For The Kidzzz

I recently attended a baby shower where the mom received this adorable giraffe. Everyone absolutely freaked out over this cute little guy.

The brand is Twoolies, and they’re all handmade and one of a kind. Seriously cool. And there are other animals too. A great gift if I’ve ever seen one…

Just a quick post this morning… I got back late last night and am hanging with the kids :)

A Hodgepodge Post For Friday

I’m a lucky lucky and spoiled girl…

See Exhibit A: Crazy gorgeous flowers from my friend Alesya (you knoooow, the designer behind Aleysa bags!). She has a baby due real soon… Can’t wait to squeeze him (or her).

Exhibit B: Crazy gorgeous necklace from my dear friend Gaby (you knoooow, the girl behind Vault Files blog). Such a fun surprise in my day this week.

Here are just a few more pretties from her shop… She’s good ya’ll. Perfect Mother’s Day prezzies. I also have those yellow earrings, love them.
Exhibit C: Ann Marie Cale designed this Chassity Necklace inspired by me. I feel quite special, I must say. So gorgeous isn’t it? And even more exciting- she wants to design a dress for me to wear to an upcoming event (multi-talented girl)! More on that dress soon.
And Exhibit D: All of you! Thank you so much for the encouragement and supportive words this week on my artwork. Your support means the world. Both paintings sold fast (to an awesome reader and to a certain badass designer), there were a lot of emails about upcoming work and commissions, and I discovered this gem of a pin…

Goosebumps for sure to see Southern Living Magazine have such sweet things to say. They’re pretty major. Kisses to all of you! I’m a lucky little blogger indeed.

You know what else is awesome, that Rikshaw Design is coming to Charleston! I’ve been following Catherine’s blog and designs for a few years now and I’m stoked to see her goodies at one of my favorite local shops, Novel.

Finally, I’m off to Indiana right now for a weekend trip with my hometown girls. It’s been way too long. And I won’t lie, I’m really looking forward to a quiet flight with a good book…

And pssst: if you’re in Charleston you should stop by the book signing at Hampden…

New Rug!

Oh My Goodness. Remember this post when I was picking out a rug to review from RugsUSA? Well I chose. They delivered. And I fell in love.

My shoes feel all homey on it too.

So this actually isn’t where the rug will stay. I’m planning to put it in the new playroom at the new house. But I just had to unroll it and check it out. So gorgeous, beautiful colors. I highly recommend the over dyed rugs at RugsUSA for sure! They’re all one of a kind :)
I’ll be sure to share once she’s in her permanent home! Major thanks to Kate and the RugsUSA team for this gorgeous piece.

Hang This Wear That


Debuting… My Art:

I’ve gotten a lot of interest in my paintings and have decided to offer up my works for purchase
(even though I have a reeeally great spot for these particular pieces picked out in my new house…).
Since pretty much everything I do is inspired by fashion, I deemed “Hang This Wear That”
to be the only legit way to show them. 

Obviously you could frame these pieces and they’d be lovely (especially floating in an acrylic frame) but I really love the idea of just thumb tacking them to the wall. Especially in a series. Hit me up if you’re interested in this. Simple and fun.
