Today I am truly honored to introduce to you, MATINE.

Coming to you from the design visionary Carolyn Tillman, MATINE is fresh, fun, and sophisticated. I’m a long time fan of Carolyn’s hand painted home accessories line, Tilly Maison, so it lends itself that I would be quite enamored with her latest hand inked, hand sewn leather goods line.

And hello brass rivet lovliness. Did you notice that sweet detail??

 I know! It’s divine. I honestly can’t pick a favorite, I want EVERY SINGLE ONE.

Check out the just launched MATINE collection now! And you can keep up with shop news on their facebook page. Congrats on the launch, Carolyn!

My girl Alex (badass designer “Alexandra Berlin“) hooked me up with some new throws straight from Copenhagen. I put the orange stripe in my dining room to lighten it up for summer.

It’s like it was made to go with my napkins…

And for now the black stripe is in my family room. I LOVE these. They can be used as blankets, throws, tablecloths, whathaveyou…

For the rest of you in the US, Amber just got them in her shop too :) So you too can have stripey coolness.

Remember a couple of weeks ago when I was going on and on about my love for Popham Design’s tile? Well the designer, Caitlin, is SO generously giving me a discount (pinch me). So guess what, it’s now in my budget! Hooray! Check out what I chose. I’m SOOOO excited and can’t wait to show you all when it’s installed!

While scrolling through my iPhone pictures I noticed both of these shots. Apparently I have a thang for this style (I don’t even know what to call it).

 {Taken at Hill Gallery, Charleston, SC}

{Taken at Elle Decor House, NYC}

And this is unbelievable. this entire design in this room is made of salt. Can you even imagine? It was incredible to see in person. The artist is Motoi Yamamoto and it’s up at the Hill Gallery here in Charleston, SC right now. We were there last night for a Spoleto party.

And I’ve also decided that I need to collect an eclectic mix of moroccan glasses. How fun is this?

Do y’all stalk Moda Operandi like I do? I like to get on there and dream. Such a genius concept taking the latest styles straight from the runway and available to you for pre order. Brilliant. No need to worry if your local shop has ordered your favorite piece from your favorite designer’s collection. Here’s a sampling of what I’m currently loving on there. Granted, most of this is out of my budget, but you can find some things on there that aren’t sooo high :)

I might not be able to resist those Del Toro Serpent Slipper Loafers.

Lastly, I haven’t shared a picture of Fletcher lately. He’s getting so big – 6 months old now! Here we are this past weekend at the beach. Not my best shot, but I think he looks adorable. I’d share the super cute picture I got of Lilly at the beach too, but she looks so grown up in her bikini, and who knows what kind of creepy mc’creepsters are lurking…

Hey, Happy Friday!!
