So this past weekend I spent 3 days in New York for Fashion Week. It was my 2nd time going and it was freaking amazing. I felt so lucky to be there. As evidence of this selfie I took in the cab on my way to my first event – the Kate Spade presentation.
The KSNY presentation was really good. There were 3 walls of models and everyone just walked abound viewing the upcoming Fall collection while socializing. Really, one of my favorite events.
Below, Anna Kendrick wearing one of the dresses…
Below with Amy and Sally (thanks for snapping Molly!).
After KSNY I headed to lunch at Tipsy Parson with Molly & Sally, Amy, Mary, Mackenzie, and Carly. Somehow we all ordered the avocado toast (hilarious) and it was amazing (thanks to Mary for snapping this).
After that I went for a coffee chat with Mackenzie and Carly, those two are the real deal. Two young girls killing it in NYC. Oh the life. After coffee we ran by Jack Rogers for a little social party. Then it was off to dinner with the girls again. That sums up my Friday.
Saturday morning I stopped by the Adam Lippes show at his home – I didn’t want to be the nosy girl with the camera but let me just tell you his home is as cool as his collection.
Next I met my friend Stacy at the Rebecca Taylor show. For those interested I’m wearing these bonded citrus pants. She’s wearing this chambray jumpsuit.
This show was the real deal, everything was amazing. Those shoes were worn by a lot of the models – so hot!
Aaaaand it was not completely lost on me that just a few seats down sat Elle Strauss, style director at Shopbop. You can imagine my excitement of meeting her. I’ve had a crush on her for close to 3 years now. She’s really sweet in person and just as adorable as she is in her pictures.
Next I headed over to Lincoln Center for the Mara Hoffman show. SO fun. I love her color and prints. Elle was there too, we totally should have rode together ;)
After Mara Hoffman I headed to the Bare Minerals lounge and got my make up done (thanks to Julia for inviting me). Crashed in Molly, Sally, Amy, and Mary’s hotel room for an hour for a chat before dinner, and then we all headed to Almond for dinner with Grace, Victoria, and Hitha. Picture below with Grace.
Whew. Did you catch all that? And I’m not even done. Sunday was the best day yet thanks to Mackenzie’s NYFW Design Darling blogger brunch she hosted (I’ll share that in another post hopefully coming today). After that brunch I had coffee with Marysia & Molly at Crosby St. before catching a flight home. Bam. NYFW in a quick weekend – that’s how I like it.
