So this past weekend I spent 3 days in New York for Fashion Week. It was my 2nd time going and it was freaking amazing. I felt so lucky to be there. As evidence of this selfie I took in the cab on my way to my first event – the Kate Spade presentation.

The KSNY presentation was really good. There were 3 walls of models and everyone just walked abound viewing the upcoming Fall collection while socializing. Really, one of my favorite events.

After  KSNY I headed to lunch at Tipsy Parson with Molly & Sally, Amy, Mary, Mackenzie, and Carly. Somehow we all ordered the avocado toast (hilarious) and it was amazing (thanks to Mary for snapping this).

After that I went for a coffee chat with Mackenzie and Carly, those two are the real deal. Two young girls killing it in NYC. Oh the life. After coffee we ran by Jack Rogers for a little social party. Then it was off to dinner with the girls again. That sums up my Friday.

Saturday morning I stopped by the Adam Lippes show at his home – I didn’t want to be the nosy girl with the camera but let me just tell you his home is as cool as his collection.

Next I met my friend Stacy at the Rebecca Taylor show. For those interested I’m wearing these bonded citrus pants. She’s wearing this chambray jumpsuit.

This show was the real deal, everything was amazing. Those shoes were worn by a lot of the models – so hot!

Aaaaand it was not completely lost on me that just a few seats down sat Elle Strauss, style director at Shopbop. You can imagine my excitement of meeting her. I’ve had a crush on her for close to 3 years now. She’s really sweet in person and just as adorable as she is in her pictures.

Next I headed over to Lincoln Center for the Mara Hoffman show. SO fun. I love her color and prints. Elle was there too, we totally should have rode together ;)

After Mara Hoffman I headed to the Bare Minerals lounge and got my make up done (thanks to Julia for inviting me). Crashed in Molly, Sally, Amy, and Mary’s hotel room for an hour for a chat before dinner, and then we all headed to Almond for dinner with Grace, Victoria, and Hitha. Picture below with Grace.

Whew. Did you catch all that? And I’m not even done. Sunday was the best day yet thanks to Mackenzie’s NYFW Design Darling blogger brunch she hosted (I’ll share that in another post hopefully coming today). After that brunch I had coffee with Marysia & Molly at Crosby St. before catching a flight home. Bam. NYFW in a quick weekend – that’s how I like it.

Well I finally got around to updating my business cards. And they’re pretty much my dream cards thanks to my good friend Jackie Robinson of 42 Pressed. She gets me. I wanted color, something cool but not too crazy, and we even switched things up by printing a collection of different designs. Also, the fact that they’re letterpress makes my heart leap.

I’m restraining myself from ordering another batch in more colors. I’m hooked! 42 Pressed y’all – Jackie is the bomb.

Show of hands, who else is addicted to One Kings Lane? I love checking in on the daily new sales. I’m thinking of starting a new series showcasing the best of, or at least my favorites. Let me know what you think!

Truthfully, there are so many other things I love over there too but there’s only so much time and space. Also, today OKL announced that if you place an order today, you can get free shipping for the next 30 days.

Good morning. It’s supposed to rain all day today so I’ve chosen to brighten my mood instead by shopping online. This Joie wrinkled leather tote is so fabulous I put two pictures of it in my collage. I love the little metal clips. And those Tory Burch strappy flats are the bomb. The blush color is especially beautiful.

a-line slouchy tee (also in black), double wrap watchpainted stripes tankmixed print maxi dress

I just bought the Joie cutout tie booties. They’re the comfiest heel ever and I’m so excited about them. I’m thinking really, really hard about that Ella Moss mixed print maxi dress. It can be worn with a bra (necessary for me) and has the prettiest patterns. Comes in a black/white version too. Speaking of bra friendly dresses, I love that the melon shift dress up there is a cut out dress that still covers well. It’s pretty fantastic and I feel like it could be a fun birthday dress for me next month. Also, that painted stripes tank would be really easy to pair with jeans, skirts, or shirts!

I couldn’t fit it into the collage but I also really like this stitched up sally top – isn’t the name just darling, too? You could live in this spring – fall.

Those are just a few of my favorites. I still haven’t ordered that pom pom shower curtain for Lilly, need to do that. Anyway, shop the Serena & Lily sale here.

And I promise promise I will get to a NYFW recap – I just need to gather some more pictures from friends.
