In summer months I’m all about some white tees (I have about 8) that I can dress up or down or in between. I’d call this an in between look. The polka dot shorts and fun necklace take it up a notch from a more frequent pairing with casual shorts (how cute are these). All of which are summer staples for me.

So when Macy’s asked me to dig in my closet and show y’all one of my favorite go to summer looks – this was an easy outfit for me to pull on! A good white tee (you can find a similar tee here at Macy’s, and I also like this sleeveless version) is most always appropriate in the summer months.

So via my instagram you’ve probably seen that I’m on vacation right now with my family in Naples, FL. We’re having such a great time spending quality time with family that we don’t get to see as often. The kids have been having an absolute blast. I’ve grown up vacationing in Naples, thanks to my Grandparents, and it’s one of my most favorite places ever.
But you know I’m still blogging. Can’t ever let it go… don’t worry I’m not missing out on major moments while I’m here. Kids gotta nap, ya know?! Anway, snapped these pictures last week with Gray. Just a simple hanging around casual day kind of outfit. Love this new tie dye tee. It’s soft (probably the softest thing in my closet) and blousy, which frankly is just what I want some days.

These cobalt knotted sandals are new and fun for summer. Love pairing them with whites and bleached out outfits.

We got like a week ’til Father’s Day and, if you’re like me, need to get on it. It always sneaks up on me. So I’ve been brainstorming. You know how a lot of guys despise jean shopping (much like all shopping)? Well let’s freshen up their wardrobes with some new denim. Guys are so lucky in that it’s easy enough to order jeans – you just need to know their waist and inseam. So pick a favorite pair (or a few if he needs some real help) and you’re done.
Nordstrom’s men’s jean selection is A+ and so well organized so you can find a pair that is versatile across occasions in your price range. Oh, and they’re perfect for the guy who “adopts trends lightly” (ahem Josh).
