Just a few kick ass things to think about this weekend.

faux fur coat, omg clutchtie blouse, slouchy faux fur vest

open buckle booties, leather jacketmerlot sweater, quilted mini bag

asymmetrical blue sweater, slate clutchtweed/fur dress

pearl necklacecropped dress, cardigan sweatertaupe bag

The shape of that cardigan sweater is just about perfect and would be so cute thrown over so many things. I like it over that graphic tee shown above. And I’ll never tire of asymmetrical sweaters like that pretty cobalt one. Such a universally flattering color. Speaking of pretty colors, isn’t that merlot sweater gorgeous?! BB Dakota is killing it this season with the faux fur pieces like that slouchy vest and long coat. And I think I need that iridescent OMG clutch! Like OMG!

I’m so excited to debut the first video in the new Look Linger Love lifestyle video collection! That sounds way more important than it is. Basically, I’m working with AOL on a series of fun, short videos that will have a wide range of topics. Some of these topics include fashion, home, food/cooking, family, even Charleston guides. I’m doing these videos because I’m an expert in everything. Kidding.

In this first video below I’m sharing a quick and easy way to arrange flowers for a friend. These flowers are from Trader Joes. I usually have the best luck there.

I recommend getting thicker string or ribbon than I’m using here. Happy Friday!

PS: The shirt that I’m wearing is available here.

Life lately…

Last week I lost my grandfather, Joe Aull, an amazing man who changed and affected many lives. We went up to Owensboro, Kentucky for 3 days to be with family and say our good byes. It was great to be with my family and the kids enjoyed spending time with their cousins. Here’s a picture I snapped one morning at my Dad’s house.

Soooo, there isn’t a great way to segue from the passing of my papa to the rest of this post so let’s just do it. This picture below is from a coffee date that I had at Black Tap with Juley while she was visited Charleston.

A snap of Fletcher hanging out in my bathtub while I got ready. It’s pretty sweet how he follows me around. Find a similar storage ladder here.

One of our favorite books, Extra Yarn. It’s a really cute story and the illustrations are beautiful.

It’s been rainy like mad in Charleston lately. But at least it’s an excuse to carry my favorite bubble umbrella.

And favorite rain boots. Loeffler Randall makes the coolest rain booties. How awesome is this buckle pair?

I think we are nearing the end of Lilly’s naps… I regularly find her hanging in the “library” when she should be snoozing. She’s nearly 5 though so we had a long stretch of them while they lasted. This is the souk wool rug. She’s reading Harry the Dirty Dog.

Here’s Fletcher’s teeny tiny bathroom that we don’t yet use. Easier to have him in Lilly’s for now, but one day we’ll all be thankful he has his own.

My cute fall boots! Similar rug here.

So I’ve become addicted to spin classes. Before I go I like to stop for an energy shot. I get the green dragon. Any others suggestions?

Lilly’s Lullie Wallace lunchbox and bento box (we use the insert with this lunchbox).

Fun delivery from Shop Bando and Bauble Bar.

Lilly likes to “decorate” our house with her accessories. It’s pretty hilarious. Here are the shoes.

2 weeks or so ago I helped out with a Charleston video by the Charleston CVB. Can’t wait to see how it turns out.

I’ve been wanting these heels for a long time now. I finally bit the bullet and did it. As far as heels go, they’re really easy to walk in. So excited about them. They’re available in different colors, too.
