Loeffler Randall just released the resort collection and it’s pretty delightful. I found about a bazillion pairs of shoes that I want including these and these.

Regarding the second collage, right now at Old Navy you can take 25% off your purchase. Have you checked out their outerwear collection lately? The coats are pretty adorable. I especially love this one. Be sure to use the code “SAVE”. And how great is this budget find dolman tunic from Urban Outfitters?! I really like the side slits and the funnel neck. Looks cozy and easy.

J.Crew is, once again, offering 25% off fall faves with the code “GETWARM”. Snatch up my favorite high low sweater.

Also, Biscuit Home just launched their annual anniversary sale – 25% off the entire site. It’s a great time to pick up some fresh new bedding or great gift tables like some Loren Hope baubles. And how great is this pillow?

Lastly, Nordstrom launched their 40% off sale today. Lots of good things like my Kate Spade pumps in black, this Splendid cardigan, this swingy tunic, these Vince pumps, and this beautiful wrap coat.

And my favorite Nordstrom sale pick is this cashmere tunic sweater – a no brainer. More sale favorites below…

Show of hands, who has used Crest 3D White Whitestrips? Me too. They’ve been my teeth whitening go to since college. Let’s not talk about how long that’s been… But I’ve used them for so long because they work. They’re inexpensive and easy. You can use them at home, in the car, at work, or even at the park with your kids. I generally use them as a maintenance method. So every so often I’ll use a strip or two just to brighten up a little. But when Crest reached out about being a part of their “2 Weeks to Your Whitest Smile” challenge I was totally down.

I’ve alway had some tooth sensitivity so I figured I wouldn’t be able to go hard on this challenge. I had to skip a few days to give my teeth a break (also the kit comes with a toothpaste that helps with the sensitivity). I’m really happy with the results after the 2 week period.

The exact product I used is called Crest 3D White Whitestrips Luxe Supreme FlexFit (there are a few different Crest variations). You can purchase them right here on Crest’s website.

Before and after photography by Gray Benko. This post was brought to you by The Proctor & Gamble Company. All opinions, as always, are my own.

I know it might feel early to talk about holiday gifts but when holiday party invitations start showing up I think it’s fair to have the discussion. Do yourself a favor and stock up early on Diptyque candles. They’re perfect for your fanciest friend. Your co-worker. Your mother in law. Consider it your go to hostess gift. If it’s good enough for Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss, and Madonna, it’s good enough for them. Unless “them” is Kate Middleton, I hear she prefers this brand.

All of the Diptyque scents smell amazing so don’t worry about choosing the wrong one, but if you want some fragrance suggestions I love Baies, Roses, and Figuier. It’s funny, in the past week this conversation has been brought up by 2 of my friends! It’s enough to light a fire under me to go ahead and stock up before they sell out. Such an easy beautiful and luxurious gift.

Morning. Sharing a little life lately today. It was a great weekend here in Charleston. Halloween was a big huge success. We went simple with the kids’ costumes this year. Fletch was a pirate and Lilly was a witch. We had a neighborhood party and then trick or treating. I also spent all morning at the school for the various parades/carnivals/class parties. Halloween is a pretty big deal.

On me: this layered detail sweater, these jeans, these shoes

THIS new Places to Go, People to See KSNY book. In love with it. It’s big and thick and is full of charming novelties and ideas. Also, my shoes.

Last Thursday I co-hosted a party at the Nathaniel Russell House downtown with the Historic Charleston Foundation. It was gorgeous, and I can say that because I had zilch to do with the planning. Here are two of my favorite rooms in the house…

And here’s our garden party.

Cute new book by one of our favorites, Mac Barnett. Also, this rug.

Our Saturday looked a lot like this. Chili, book reading, and a fire.

I’ve been itching to paint our front door pink and I think I finally found the perfect shade…

Remember my 2 pairs of bow back flats? I still wear them all the time. Well I just found an identical look for less pair. Just $65.

I managed to steal away for an hour downtown this weekend and picked up a new favorite sweater. It’s the high-low sweater and I’m pretty sure I’m going to get it in more colors. Simple and cozy and easy.
