THIS is major. At 11 AM this morning Samantha Priddy’s textile art pop up shop launches on Furbish. I’m in love with these and am buying 4 (2 for me, 2 to gift)! Don’t worry, I’ll be super quick. I hope you are, too.

Sometimes the most thoughtful gifts that you can give your loved ones are the every day items that they can use regularly. I don’t know about you all but in my house we can always use a fresh set of towels. Towels are the sort of thing that work hard, and after awhile they show it. A fresh new set just feels luxurious, don’t you think?

Big thanks to Fletch up there for doing the heavy lifting for us and showing off the Liz Claiborne towels. JC Penney’sĀ Gift Hub has a lot of great gift ideas at great prices that your family members will actually use! Here are a few more of my favorites.

le creuset oven, gift card,Ā gold foil glasses,Ā keurig coffee maker,

kitchenaid mixer, jonathan adler lamp,Ā liz claiborne towels

We have that exact Keurig coffee maker and I use it every single morning. Makes my life so easy! And I love cooking with my Le Creuset.

It’s so much better to give than to receive, especially when you know you’re giving something that your loved one will really use. ShopĀ JC Penney’s Gift HubĀ for more gifting ideas. Also, find more JC Penney blogger favorites here on Stylelist.

Raise your hand if you like to make homemade holiday gifts? If so today’s post is for you. I’m teaming up with Aladdin (again!) to share some inspiration. I’ve been pinning DIY ideas to their Winter Wonderland Pinterest Board and wanted to highlight a few of my favorites here today. (Click each image to get more info on each idea.) I love the idea of using these ideas withĀ Aladdin’s Classic Insulated Travel Mason Mugs for pretty and useful packaging.

One of the most popular ideas I’ve seen is a hot chocolate kit. Consider making your own marshmallows this year and pair with gift cards for your children’s teachers.

Candied nuts are easy to make and always well received (noting of allergies of course). Would be a great recipe to make in bulk and gift to extended family and neighbors.

For young families on your list I love this idea of gifting homemade cookie dough.

Help yourĀ kids make these adorable snow globes for Grandma and Grandpa. This would beĀ such a fun project!

And it’ll be easy to include your fur loving friends this year with these cute dog treat packages.

Aladdin has a great collection of keep it hot mugs and thermoses. Here are a few of my favorites.

I have a favorite coat source to share. If you’re looking for something really funĀ and want to spend between $100 – $200,Ā ASOS is the spot. When browsing their selection I can find probably 50 coats that I would love to wear, but I couldn’t resistĀ this pink coat with the pink fur.

So, so fun. I love the shades of pink.

And equally fun underneath is this sequin stripe top! Y’all know I love a white blouse and this side stripe makes it so fun. There are other varieties of it available, too.

This year’s 2nd annual Garden & Gun Jubilee was so much fun. I attended the editor’s breakfast on Friday, stayed around and hung out that day, and brought my husband back yesterday. Here are a few pictures from my time there.

That Jubilee sign up there was made by Sideshow Sign Co in Nashville. Naturally it was all over instagram.

There really is so much to love about Jubilee. It celebrates the best in Southern culture by bringing together designers, artisans, chefs, musicians, sportsmen, and more, all curated by the G&G editors. It’s the perfect event to shop for yourself (and for everyone on your holiday list), taste food from nationally recognized restaurants and chefs, and just hang out and have a good time. It pretty much brings the pages of G&G magazine to life for one great weekend here in Charleston.

Lovely little shopping situations.

Charming food scenes.

Here’s my culottes wearing sister Haskell Harris. She’s the Style Director at Garden & Gun and one of my good friends who you’ve, no doubt, heard me mention a lot over the last 4 years.

If you missed Jubilee but still want to shop some of the amazing southern made merchandise check out G&G’s online Mercantile Store. Here are a few of my favorites.

biscuit cutters, scarf,Ā carafe, copper flask, stool,

harry barker dog bed,Ā tree swing,

croquet,Ā match box,Ā fish net,Ā bookends,Ā fireside popcorn popper

And I highly recommend attending next year’s celebration.

A few new arrivals that have caught my eye. How fun is that fringe dress?

yellow dress,Ā satchel, skirt,Ā crystal earrings, off shoulder dress,

gold heels, gold earrings,Ā stripe top,Ā espadrilles,Ā

sweater dress, bikini,Ā boots,Ā fringe dress (also avail here)

That black sweater dress could be worn so much and is perfect for holiday parties. And how cute is that flared stripe top? Good for disguising holiday weight.
