Happy Monday! Here’s a little of my life lately…

We had such a great Mother’s Day weekend here. These two spoiled me so sweet :) I hope y’all had an amazing Mother’s Day as well.

Rainbow Row here in Charleston. Always so pretty.

Here’s Josh and me at the Southern Living Magazine Kentucky Derby party here in Charleston at the Wentworth Mansion. So much fun. I’m wearing this off the shoulder yellow dress and a mini veil because I couldn’t find a hat. And well, I’ll use any excuse to wear a veil.

Been wearing my cross body bag a whole lot. Sorta obsessed. Also my Twine & Twig necklaces. My skirt is old Asos. The crop top is Urban Outfitters. It’s on sale for $19 and comes in a few colors, I love it.

Rickshaw-ing around town with my girl Charlotte! The most fun way to get from place to place downtown.

So happy for beach weather! Two of my favorite beach supplies are these perforated pool slides and one of my favorite beach shirt dresses. By the way did you see my beach supply list that I posted yesterday?

Loving my bracelet stack from the Shine Project. They employ inner city youth to make the jewelry, helping the kids raise money for college. Also, wearing this stripe shirtdress and lace up shoes.

The Farmers Market is back at it and we’re pumped about it! Figured it was a good excuse to use my fanny pack. ;)

You may remember I wrote about Insider’s Weekend here in Charleston. I went on the tour of beach homes on Sullivan’s Island and it was FANTASTIC! Here’s just a snippet of a few photos scenes – these adorable twin beds…

Lovely painted floor…

That there is a wallpapered elevator back there!

More pictures with my kids. I’ve been trying to be better about this! I’m wearing that gauzy pocket tee that I wear all the time.

Southern C Summit came to town and I (along with my pal Hanna) co-hosted the parties at Hampden and Croghans. It was such a fun time!

And I got to make some new friends at the Summit too, like Whitney from Grace Graffiti.

One of my daily outfits (I want to be better about sharing more of these) – black sandals, white jeans, pom pom basket, stripe linen top, and tassel necklace.

Found Lilly being all cute reading (Peanuts!) to her dolls. Isn’t her necklace darling? Her jersey jumpsuit, too.

Shopping scenes – in love with both the navy dress and that pink print shift! I mean, more flamingo prints please!!

Kitchen scenes. The peonies look pretty but they smelled sorta funky :( Whhhhhyyyyy!

My scalloped lace shirt – it comes in black now, too.

Spent three days in Dallas for the Rewardstyle blogger conference. So much fun to see some good friends :) From left – Grace, Liz, Me, Hanna, Jamie.

Wore my stripe skirt one of the days in Dallas – such a great piece! And my friend Deirdre makes the coral rice beads necklace that I’m wearing! Lilly picked out the teal color to give to her grandma for Mother’s Day.

Here’s my yellow dress again! Love it so much that I’m contemplating getting it in the white. What do you think? Overboard? It’s just so fun and easy. Wearing with my goldie strap heels.

Alright, had a enough of me? Thought so. Have a great Monday morning!

With the end of school so near I have beach days with Lilly and Fletch on my mind. Every beach trip with the kids requires buckets and shovels, water and snacks, and plenty of sunscreen and towels. And maybe a few fun things for mom.

beach cover up

striped one piece, mirrored sunglasses, beach hat,

beach towel, coverup, flamingo pouch, book,

beach chair, sunscreen, beach chair

That cute beach chair is reversible!! So fun, right? And only $75. I feel like so many cute, wooden beach chairs are crazy expensive. And don’t you love that handkerchief coverup?! So fun and easy. Love the mirrored sunglasses to check your sunscreen application. Little pouches like that are essential for finding small things like chapstick, your phone, and car keys. That one’s by Hayden Reis, and heads up for Charleston peeps there will be a pop up at Eclectic Charelston on May 25th! Also, obsessed with the pink and white one piece!!

Happy Mother’s Day to you all. We’ve had a beautiful day here. Went downtown to the Grocery for brunch with the fam and then walked around for Second Sunday on King Street.

Happy Saturday. Just a few pretty things I’ve found this week! I’ve shared that embroidered navy dress before in pink, but I love all the colors it comes in and it’s only $40!

blue/white jumpsuit, lace cami, satchel, black shirtdress,

pink off shoulder dress, floral dress, navy dress, peplum top,

fringe sandals, cutout floral dress, stripe dress, ruffle dress

I bet that lace cami would be equally cute tucked into a skirt. And I LOVE that white satchel up there, so great for summer. And that red ruffle dress at the bottom is so simple and adorable.

So a question I get asked a lot is where I blog from. The answer seems sorta boring, because I write my blog posts at home. But home is exactly where I want to be (unless of course I had some amazing office I shared with friends… dreaming). So when HP & Intel asked me to show my happy place where I “work” from I naturally chose to share my home.

And I put “work” in quotes up there because it hardly seems fair to call this lifestyle blog work. I started it nearly 5 years ago as a fun outlet to share clothing and home finds, and I still treat it like a hobby (a hobby that I get to devote a lot of time to). And I get to be home with the kids at the same time. But they have pre-school, the occasional sitter, and really, they play so well together now – which allows for plenty of opportunities to hop online and find new pretty things to share :)

This is me, finding a new pair of shoes I want to buy. Like usual. But really, my HP with Intel Inside tablet makes it easy to get online anywhere even if there is no wifi access, thanks to it’s 4G data (obvs not the case at my house because duh, I have internet).

Don’t get me wrong, working from home does have it’s challenges, but I really love it. If you could work from anywhere, where would it be?

So Suno came to town last week for some fun festivities and to celebrate their new, exclusive Suno for Hampden collection. Each piece is beautiful, and while I was most drawn to this fit & flare dress (probably because I have another Suno dress in the same silhouette) I felt like this skirt would be a fun and different choice for me.

This skirt feels feminine with the flared hem silhouette. I like how the stripes ground the floral prints.

I paired it with my new off the shoulder tunic. The tunic is actually a longer length but it’s super thin – so it can tuck into pretty much anything and not add bulk! Such a versatile top. I sometimes like to wear it pulled down off the shoulder a little more, as well.

My favorite black pumps – just love the gold cuffs.

Oh! And I LOVE how the sleeves on this top tie up!!
