Morning :) Sharing a little of my life lately…
This past weekend we headed down to Bluffton for some boating with friends. So much fun :)
Saturday we headed out to Marshside Mama’s on Daufuskie Island. You can only get to it by boat. I’ve actually never had an amazing meal there, but I love that place anyway!
View from my borrowed bed :) The lowcountry is really just the most amazing place. I first fell in love with South Carolina 12 years ago during a summer internship on Fripp Island, right outside of Beaufort. Charleston is amazing, but there is just something special down there.
But then speaking of Charleston… it’s pretty special, too.
Spent last Friday afternoon with my friends at Gray & Co. Their office is so cute!
Some fall things… This plaid shirt, these metallic loafers (and a look for less), and this bag!
And here I am wearing that plaid shirt with my friend Teil Duncan at her art show.
Matching my bags to my art.
This sweet boy at the beach. Can’t get enough of him. And don’t worry, that huge ball didn’t blow a mile down the beach. #sarcasm
Swimming with my babies. (I’m wearing this suit.)
Pretty wall at The Americano.
Some favorite bags… white cross body, black tote, and quilted clutch.
Great key situation at Mixson Club! Gray and I played hooky a week or so ago out there for a pool day, so much fun!
Okay this Mignonne Gavigan scarf is my new obsession – I can’t wait to get to wear it. It’s cashmere with metal sequin detail. So fun. Also, theses Alexander Wang Lovisa pumps in black. Yes I have them in grey, too. They’re that good.
These two. She was happy because it was casual day at school and she could wear whichever dress she wanted. Fletch was happy because after she left he was going to booby trap her room with toilet paper and cotton balls he’d hidden under his rug. So funny.
Pretty peachy pumps! And they’re under $70.
Pretty farmer’s market scenes!
Bow tie blouse + boy-friend jeans :) Those are from Urban Outfitters and they’re my favorite boyfriend style pair I’ve ever tried on!
Ridiculous situations that the kids set up around the house. Here they were blocking the back door so that I couldn’t go outside since I told them they couldn’t go. Similar rug here.
Little stack of evil eye bracelets.
This seems like really old news but Lilly started kindergarten! Happy to report that we’re two weeks in and she loves it!
I learned that my husband apparently has a real love for Ledbury. But I’m not complaining.
A favorite outfit I can’t wait to wear – this Free People sweater dress, a Twine & Twig necklace, and the black pumps. And important note, the sweater dress runs very big. I’m usually a size 6 but took the extra small in this and even got it taken in some. Worth it though! It’s adorable.
Rainy day selfie. Got caught walking home from school when it started pouring. The kids loved it.
And ending with my favorite sweater for fall right here. I have it in this cream color and also black. It’s a trapeze silhouette so it swings and hangs nicely. Also, these metallic pumps :)
That’s all! Happy Tuesday.
