In the spirit of home tours thanks to our Real Simple magazine home feature in this month’s issue, I thought it would be fun to take a more detailed look at our bedroom update!
I had my friends at Taylor Burke Home help me with a custom headboard and I LOVE how it turned out. The blue and white fabric we used is P Kaufman’s Scramble in BlueMarine.
We wanted to accent the fun headboard shape that the girls at Taylor Burke Home and I came up with, so we piped the edge in yellow. That was their idea, and I love how it turned out! you might remember the girls at TBH also helped me with my sofa!
The stripe cotton rug is from Dash & Albert, one of my most favorite rug sources! I love all of their bright colors and designs. It’s casual and helps ground the space. And the Fresh American braided poufs at the end of the bed give the perfect spot to perch. My kids love to sit on these.
The bedding is by my most favorite bedding brand, Matouk. It really is the dreamiest sleep. And ps, I am also a big fan of the Matouk for One King’s Lane collection and price point.
I found my wall lamps on Etsy from Photonic Studio’s shop! He has THE best pieces and amazing prices.
Love all of my Clare Elsaesser girl prints. Tip – if you’re looking for a great frame shop by most favorite source is Framebrige. I have more prints on my way to them right now!
We love how it all turned out :)
