Apologies for yesterday’s radio silence, I blame summer. But I have a great round up of new things for today!

Soooo that off the shoulder green dress is under $90 and it’s the prettiest shade! I just ordered that flare sleeve black dress (and will probably need to wear it with my favorite pair of spanx shorts, seriously thought they’re the best) as well as that black top! Really loving that pink floral dress at the bottom, and that cold shoulder floral dress, too.

Etsy Spotlight: Jorey Hurley

It was the families in the pool painting that caught my eye while browsing around Etsy tonight. Then it was the swim team practice piece that cinched my love for Jorey Hurley’s art (possibly due to my evenings spent at the pool for Lilly’s swim team practice and meets…). I love the colors, and each piece is visually impactful.

A Charleston Garden Party

One of Charleston’s favorite past times is gathering for a good party. We love to sit and visit. Sometimes we throw it together and t’s super casual, and other times we put on the ritz. And very few put on the ritz as well as my friend Calder Clark!

Calder & Mrs. John L. Strong (Manhattan’s notorious & century old stationer) threw a beautiful dinner party at Sarah Hamlin Hasting’s amazing home (look back at her home tour here) to celebrate the stationer’s expansion to Charleston!

I love this floral piece below, and when I mentioned it to Calder she said that a beautiful antique sculpture like this is just poised (and literally made) for fresh blooms.

These passed trays of homemade truffles by Cru Catering was my most favorite part of the dinner :) What a cute idea!
