I hope you all had a great NYE. We had some friends here and took it pretty easy. The kids all had a blast together. And yesterday Lilly and I caught up on all the new Fuller House episodes. We LOVE it. Anyone else?
Like many, at the beginning of each year I set some goals for myself for the year ahead. It’s a good time to sort of check in and evaluate yourself. My list of goals this year is extensive, with the desire to be a loving and present mom, wife, and friend at the top of my list. And in an effort to not bore you all too much I’m sharing just a few “mini-goals” for the year.
- Be sillier. Exhibit A above.
- Start my morning with a healthier breakfast option, like my favorite smoothies. I’m guilty of skipping breakfast too often and let coffee take it’s place.
- Finally buy the sandals I’ve been coveting. In nude.
- Go for more long walks. It’s one of my favorite activities to do solo with my headphones and a great playlist. And I’m due for a fresh pair of supportive shoes – how awesome are these flashback sneakers?
- Pack my luggage and travel somewhere I haven’t been. New Orleans seems to be calling me. I really want to make it happen in 2018.
- Organize my tupperware cabinet with this storage bowl set. I love the color combos. Just need a sale.
- Read more. Next on my list is this book recommended by my friend Grace.
- Entertain at home more. I just ordered these glasses (on sale!) & they’re begging to be used.
- Spend as much time as I can at Coral House. Pretty much my favorite place.
