Solely judging from the amount of editing down I had to do to put together this collage today, it’s been a good long while since we’ve had a New & Now post here. So surprising to me because they’re basically my favorite! And suffice it to say today’s round up is AMAZING. All of the pieces are the kind of things I want to live in right now.
That scoop back cotton mini dress is super adorable. This bralette is the type of bra that’s cute and modest enough to wear under dresses that might show a little more than you want (skinny straps, loose armholes…) and it comes in a gazillion color options. You all KNOW that I love this dress. That shade of red is so pretty. And this dress is a best seller for a good reason!
Good morning! It is straight up STEAMY in Charleston right now so a good portion of our weekend was spent in water. Floating. Especially the kids. I hope you all had a nice weekend, too! Today I’m sharing our mudroom space because (1) it’s rarely tidy enough for me to actually leave that door open, and 2, I just love love love looking at tile. So today I’m sharing some tile favorites that won’t cost a bazillion dollars. This tile in our mudroom is Popham’s zigzag tile, which admittedly isn’t really a budget friendly option, but the round up of cute tile in the collage below IS!
I think this green cement tile would be killer in a mudroom area, and it comes in a lot of colors choices. This tile pattern is my favorite of all of these and is also available in a plethora of colors. And this tile would be super sweet in a bathroom, especially in the pink!! Which is your favorite?
Two of my most favorite ladies just collaborated on the dreamiest collection and it is officially live! The Julia Berolzheimer x Amanda Lindroth new home collection is the perfect mix of casual meets feminine. I got a sneak peek of the pieces recently on Julia’s porch and they’re just as pretty as you imagine they would be!
This week’s Line to Love feature is also a Budget Babe spotlight all at the same time. Meomua on Amazon is an all linen-cotton collection of easy to wear everyday basics. They’re the hang around the house or run errands type of items that you can totally live in this summer. Each piece is pre-shrunk, comfy, and breathable, and there are a wide arrange of sizes. Best of all each piece is around $30!
Good morning, you guys! In case I haven’t mentioned it in a while, I’m so grateful to all of you for stopping by and reading this blog. I’ve been writing LLL for nearly 10 years (just 2 months shy of my blog anniversary date) and I still love it so much. I can’t imagine not having this place to share pretty things and talk about random things. Especially in 2020, we all need a day break don’t you think? Today’s focus is on my recent Amazon buys and finds! So many good things here…
Night Beauty Pillow – This pillow is magical and I can’t imagine life without it now. I’ve probably mentioned it here before but even if I have it’s worth retelling. It’s made of a really comfy but supportive memory foam and has two different shaped sides ideal for different sleeping positions. The pillow case is made of a high quality silk that prevents wrinkle causing sleep creases and is more gentle on your hair. Oh, it’s black because it negates light, promoting deeper rest. Dreams.
Guest Toothbrush Pack – I just ordered this set of 20 disposable toothbrushes to have on hand for overnight guests! Each toothbrush is individually wrapped and comes with a little tube of toothpaste.
Honest Mascara + Primer – I just ordered my second tube of this mascara. It is leaps and bounds better than any mascara I’ve tried. The primer is on one end and the mascara is on the other end. Trust.
Blue & White Ginger Jar – I LOVE my ginger jar. Sometime I just have it on a shelf, sometimes I throw a palm frond clipped from the backyard in it. These are just the best.
BB Dakota Gauze Dress – How adorable is this little breezy dress. Looks just as cute un-belted and also comes in a cheery yellow color.
Digital Blood Pressure Monitor – A couple of weeks ago I had to go get a COVID test (I was negative) but while I was there discovered that my blood pressure is high. I made an appt with a new primary doctor (ashamed to admit I didn’t have one, I always just use my obgyn, derm, or an urgent care) and am now self monitoring my blood pressure! This handy digital wrist cuff that Josh ordered for me makes it easy. If Josh sees this his eyes will probably bleed since I have it on backwards. I keep doing that for some reason. Anyway, this is so not sexy but hey, maybe it’ll help someone.
Fleece Drawstring Shorts – Who else wants to live in loose, comfy clothing all summer long? These shorts equal heaven and come in a lot of colors.
The Heir Affair – I just downloaded this book and Can Not Wait To Read It. It’s the sequel to The Royal We which was just sooooo good!! If you’re looking for a fun summer read I highly recommend starting here.
Raffia Picture Frames – There is just something that feels special and effortless about raffia, and these picture frames are so cute. I have a raffia framed photo from a girl’s trip on my bar and it just adds a little texture and feels chic and homey. They make a great gift, too.
Swing T-Shirt Dress – My kind of house dress, but still cute enough for all the casual summer activities. It comes in over 20 colors and prints and is only $30!
It’s a GOOD Monday morning because the Serena & Lily Summer Tent Sale is here and it’s SO SO good, you guys!! The discounts are huge (think up to 50% off) and there are hundreds of pieces included for every room in your house. I’ve rounded up some of my favorite finds below!
Those blue cotton cube poufs are seriously the best. They’re great at the end of a bed, or as an ottoman, or anywhere really. Kids love them, too. This jute rug is one of my all time favorite rugs, it’s so pretty. The blue bistro chairs are comfortable and casual and easy to clean – we have some at Coral House! And I love that tree trunk molded weather resistant side table – would be so great on a porch or patio or by the pool!
