That is an air conditioner in the bottom center. I mean. It’s so pretty, and comes with different panel colors, and its wifi controlled. What an upgrade from traditional window units! The woven trunk would be perfect at the end of a bed for storage! I’m obsessed with the colors of that green lamp. And that swivel chair has me dreaming.
This post has a little bit of everything because it’s in partnership with Nordstrom, and they are just THE BEST at carrying a lovely curated variety of products at a range of prices. There’s a lot to unpack here in this blog post, including one of my favorite easy recipes, so let’s just jump in.
Since we are all spending more time in our kitchens it’s nice to have quality products that you trust. I can’t believe I’m admitting this but the skillet I have been using is from when we registered for our wedding, and we’ve been married for 14 years… The non stick coating was coming off, and well that is just so so bad to continue to cook with a pan like that. I’m happy to report that we’re now cooking with our new Food52 12 inch covered nonstick skillet and it’s like a whole new world.
Plus, the skillet is really pretty. I love this light blueish-grey interior color.
Speaking of pretty colors my pink cowl neck tunic top is one of my new favorite shirts to wear. I wear it around the house with sweats or leggings (it has nice longer length) or out with jeans! It’s seriously so soft and is a great price ($39)!! I love all the color options.
Another tool I’m loving right now are my new set of silicone utensils. I put these in a few of my holiday gift guides, and decided I needed a set for myself. These are super durable but still flexible, and they’re really soft and comfortable to hold. They’re dishwasher safe, stand up to high heat, and BPA-free! I have the maple color. Did you notice the two in one spoon? Great for taste testing, which I happen to do a lot of when I’m cooking.
And here’s another look at my pink tunic top and leather flats! Scroll below for more of my favorite Nordstrom finds this week! Don’t forget that Nordstrom always offers free shipping and free returns, as well as a buy online and pick up in store or curbside option! And if you’re a Nordy Club member you’ll earn points and rewards with each purchase! Now is a great time to join for the new year!
Lastly as promised, I wanted to share one of my favorite easy recipes that I make all of the time. I usually make this Cauliflower Rice Buffalo Chicken dish for lunch but it’s also a really great dinner meal, too! Super simple! I use 1 frozen bag of Trader Joes Riced Cauliflower Stir Fry + any kind of chicken I have (rotisserie chicken, leftover chicken nuggets, frozen chicken, really anything chicken you like) + your favorite kind of hot sauce or buffalo sauce (I like Red Clay). Sometimes I heat the chicken separately in our toaster oven air fryer, our oven, or in the skillet with the rice.
Cauliflower Rice Buffalo Chicken
Trader Joes Riced Cauliflower Stir Fry(cooked in butter or a good EVOO)
Chicken Strips (grilled or fried per your preference)
Hot Sauce or Buffalo Sauce(to taste, I like a lot)
Man all the resort pieces showing up on my favorite websites are making me reallll lustful for a tropical getaway. In case it isn’t obvious resort is my favorite wardrobe category…
The Marie Kondo collection for Container Store has dropped and it’s full of the prettiest organizing essentials and joy sparking pieces that could motivate even the clutter-iest (is that a word?) person to whip their closets and workspaces and drawers into shape. I may not have lasted more than 10 minutes watching her show, but I lasted a good 20 minutes studying her essential organizing collection. Take a look…
Our new Breville toaster oven / air fryer!! SOOO much prettier than our old one and wayyyy better. I’ve used the air fryer function for leftover chicken and fries and it’s like magic. So excited about that.
I have this amazon sweatsuit set in that heather blue color and can’t say enough about it – super comfortable, nice simple fit, and a great price! Lots of color options, too! Here are the sweatpants and here is the sweatshirt.
This new little fish hook on our outdoor shower. I love his direction.
I’ve been logging many many hours at my Roland keyboard. I love having it and am so grateful that it was what I needed to get started, but I think it’s time to upgrade to a full piano. We’ll definitely still use this though between kid lessons, the Alexa and speaker function, and the portability.
I know I’ve spoken about this RMS radiance base before but I truly love it even more now that my complexion is a little lighter. It’s the perfect mix of warmth and shimmer and highlight. And it plumps and firms the skin at the same time. I mean!
My headphones have been getting used overtime lately thanks to long walks – these are a great price on Amazon by the way. Any good audible books you recommend? I’ve been going through all of Mindy Kaling’s books!
THE bralette that puts all of my other bralettes to shame. If you buy one thing from this post let it be this, trust.
Ending with something that makes my kids so happy, their bubble wrap calendars. This is the second year they’ve used them and they’re just so fun – you get to punch the bubble for each day and color code all of your special dates!
Also isn’t that peplum top with the little star-like flower print sort of the cutest? I want to just step right into that photo. And you know that I love that navy blue mini dress, so cute. And that cute quilted jacket is 40% off today!
