Happy Weekend!! I feel like I was a major blog slacker this week, probably because I was. Next week will be better. But I didn’t want to let the week go without a New & Now round up of this week’s favorite new finds!! So many cute things you guys.
Tuesday night Amanda Lindroth hosted the most beautiful dinner party at her home in Lyford Cay, Bahamas. It was truly magical. The setting was perfection, because her porch is beyond. The guests were so fun and inspiring, I got to sit next to Rebecca De Ravenel who is one of my favorite jewelry designers (pinch me). And the tablescape was magic, set with Amanda Lindroth collection pieces. I want to share some photos of the night because I found it all to be just so inspiring. And also right now for Mother’s Day Lindroth Design is offering 25% off their glassware and tablescape items!
That’s Amanda there in the blue and white stripe, which you probably already knew.
I feel so lucky to have been included. I’m linking some of the tablescape items below since I know you may want to take advantage of the Mother’s Day sale at Amanda Lindroth right now – 25% off tabletop and glasses (by the way these wrapped glasses are my most favorite, I have them both at home and at Coral House).
Good morning from Lyford Cay! I’m here for a few days with some girlfriends staying at Amanda Lindroth’s gorgeous home. I KNOW. It’s literally a dream come true. What is this life. Hopefully I can share some photos of her gorgeous home later this week. You guys will die. These photos are from Sunday night! I finally got to wear my new blue slip dress that I’ve been saving for the right occasion. It’s so soft and flowy and fun to wear. Heads up it runs small so size up! It comes in a pretty green floral option too that now I’m thinking I need as well. The price is SO good.
With these pretty friends, Gen, Molly, and Jackie. And I know you’re going to ask because it happened on my stories too, but Jackie’s white dress is this Mara Hoffman. It’s amazing.
FYI, my Cesta lunchpail bag is literally my favorite bag for summer. It comes in so many cute colors and has a nice inner bag tie you can close it up with! Here are just a few of my fave color options…
One of my favorite online stores, The Avenue, came to Charleston this week for a fun pop up and dinner at The Post House! I know you’ve heard me talk about them before because I check their new arrivals daily and share my faves regularly- both home and fashion! Remember my tablescape post with them? Well it was so fun to have them in town and I’ve begged them to come back in the fall so hopefully that happens. I wore this new Farm Rio tropical dress to the dinner and it is SO fun. I love the beaded tie shoulder straps!!
After months of not having a stove in our new kitchen it still feels like Christmas when I see it. We are saving a bajillion dollars not having to order for delivery all the time, lol. And it’s so fun to cook on, especially with my new Our Place Always Pan and Perfect Pot. I first saw them when my friend Grace posted about how much she loves hers, and I’m so happy to tell you that I love them just as much! Not only are they beautiful and high quality, but Our Place thoughtfully source their products, package them in biodegradable materials, and offset their carbon footprint. And right now through May 8th Our Place is having their Spring Sale where you get the Always Pan for $115 ($145 value), the Perfect Pot for $125 ($165 value), OR the Home Cook Duo like I have (Always Pan + Perfect Pot) for only $225 ($310 value)! Plus up to 20% off of everything else on their site – such a great Mother’s Day gift! And the color options you guys – so many pretty colors!!
So what makes the Our Place Perfect Pot and Always Pan so wonderful? Their ability to be so many tools all in one (which is why they keep selling out!)! The Perfect Pot does everything from boiling to baking, crisping to steaming, straining to serving! And the Always Pan replaces your fry pan, saute pan, steamer, skillet, saucepan, and more! It steams dumplings in a flash!
And the Our Place pieces even have integrated spoon rests so no more messy countertops!
One of my personal favorite features is how easy it is to strain with the Perfect Pot! It has a generous pour spout and has handy indicators on the lid to let you know which side is strain and which side is pour! No more washing separate strainers with a thousand little holes!
Our Place pieces are lightweight yet sturdy with really good heat distribution. And they have a slippery non-stick ceramic coating free of toxic materials (no Teflon or PTFEs or PFA), making them not only safe, but also super easy and fast to clean (another one of my favorite details)!!
Heat 1/4 c EVOO with minced 4 cloves of garlic and some basil(low heat)
Add cherry tomatoes and cook until they burst (maybe 20 minutes)
Meanwhile boil your pasta and drain
Add the cooked pasta to the cooked tomatoes
Add in your Burrata cheese
Top with generous salt and pepper (and more basil if you wish)
I love how Our Place has streamlined my kitchen and made the cooking process so much more simple! The Always Pan and Perfect Pot would make a great Mother’s Day gift to yourself or the Mothers in your life! And seriously you guys, the color options are so good you have to see them – so many pretty shades!! I have this “Blue Salt” color! Take advantage of the Our Place Spring Sale where you get the Always Pan for $115 ($145 value), the Perfect Pot for $125 ($165 value), OR the Home Cook Duo (Always Pan + Perfect Pot) for only $225 ($310 value)! Plus don’t forget also take up to 20% off of everything else on their site!
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend! Our’s was beautiful and we were blessed with no rain despite the weather forecast! Such a treat. I wore my new En Saison floral dress that I bought recently and am obsessed with! It comes in more prints and it is only $130.
