My Clean Beauty Hero Product

It’s been a minute since I’ve shared a beauty update on my favorite products. Retinol is basically the gold standard skincare ingredient, and my dermatologist has long advised me to use it.

All of these ingredients work together to improve fine lines, blemishes, and dark spots, and overall brighten your complexion! I’ve noticed a difference in my skin tone in the time that I’ve been using the Squalane + Retinol Night Serum! Its potency is closely related to RX strength so you should start by using it on your face 2X per week (at night) and gradually increase. I now use it nightly. I’d like to stress the importance of wearing sunscreen each day after you use it since it’s so potent!

We hung Lilly’s on the inside of her closet door so that it’s out of the way but still very easy to access. Another great thing about it is that the exterior full length mirror is a touch screen LED light! This is such a fun detail and great for make up application. I also like that it is equipped with a lock so you can safely store valuables. It’s really spacious with smart storage space, and it’s lined with velvet to protect your jewelry from scratches. It’s an awesome gift idea for anyone who needs a little glamour in her life, or a little organization!

Counter Stools – It’s nice to have extra counter stools on hand when company comes, especially since everyone always gathers in the kitchen!

Favorite Winter Recipe: White Chicken Chili

It’s the perfect excuse for me to re-share one of my best recipes that I shared probably 12 years ago! I still get messages about my White Chicken Chili. It’s a house favorite and it’s so easy to make. And nothing produces a better batch than cast iron, so I’m thrilled about my new Le Creuset!

Fun fact, Le Creuset’s US headquarters is here in Charleston so they’re a big favorite around here! This is my 4th piece. They’re so well made and are really easy to cook with. The Dutch Oven shape is perfect for slow-cooking, braising, roasting, baking and more. And it’s oven-safe as well as dishwasher-safe!

Like I said above, I originally shared this white chicken chili recipe probably 12 years ago. It’s so popular that people still message me about it. It’s so easy and so delicious that I decided to share it again!

WHITE CHICKEN CHILI RECIPE:

1 T EVOO or Butter

4-5 Garlic Cloves

1 t Ground Cumin

1.5 t Ground Oregano

1/4 t Cayenne

3 C Shredded Cooked Chicken (I use Rotisserie)

(1-2) 4 Oz Cans Chopped Green Chilis

(2) 2 Oz Cans Great Northern Beans (drained & rinsed)

6 Cups Chicken Stock (I like Progresso)

2-3 Cups Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese

Heat up the evoo or butter over low to medium heat and saute the garlic. Add the chicken, chilis, and spices. I usually let this all hang together for about 2 minutes or so. Next, add the beans and the chicken stock. Bring to a boil and then simmer for about 1.5-2 hours. Remove from heat and add the cheese. It’s ready to serve, and is great with even more cheese on top!

GATHER BOWLS:

These ceramic stoneware Gather Bowls come in a duo of two: the small bowl is 8.5 inches in diameter and the large bowl is 10.5 inches in diameter. They can be used for a million things but we use these the most for salads. They’re classic and beautiful and are made to last.

A common theme that stands out with Our Place pieces is that they’re clutter free! For example the Always Pan takes the place of 8 different pieces of cookware!
