Archive for January, 2025

This past Saturday and Sunday I took a 2 full-day class here in Charleston on a topic that I’ll probably share more about in the coming weeks. It’s a little new for me though so I don’t think I’m ready to share justtttt yet. But I feel energized and lit up in a new way. My new endeavor just so happens to be happening in January too, which was unplanned but probably adds to the enthusiasm for me. I hope you had a wonderful weekend, too.

Today we’re going over one of the most popular series of posts that I write! The Amazon favorites round up. We love to hate Amazon but at the end of the day I think most of us love it, too.

green floral mini dress, Onyx Storm book, glass storage bowls, long black dress,

iphone suction case, silk eye mask, ivory fair isle sweater, ivory stripe sweater,

green half zip pullover, green cashmere sweater, strapless long dress, Vitamix,

seamless underwear, walking pad, scallop napkins, plunge bra, navy & white cardigan sweater

Okay my fellow Fourth Wing fans, The third book drops in about a week so it’s time!! I’ve pre-ordered it to automatically download onto my kindle. A few fashion stand outs – this half zip pullover is really cute, this strapless dress is very cute and good for pairing with sweaters this time of year, and in case you missed it last year this striped sweater is one of the best items on Amazon’s site. Also I have this plunge bra and I think it’s a wardrobe must have.

A few new years resolution type of items: these glass storage bowls and containers, this walking pad (which is 42% off right now, and our fave the Vitamix (also on sale right now, 29% off).

I’d like to start this post by sending love to the LA community affected by the wildfires. Like all of you, I’ve been both astonished and heart broken as I watch the coverage. It’s truly unbelievable.

My friend Morgan, who lives in LA and owns Buru Clothing, is putting together wardrobe boxes for families affected. You can donate a box by clicking to the I Heart LA donation page right here on Buru’s site and choose between 3 levels of donations varying from $15 – $100. 100% of your donation (and then Buru will triple the values per each box) goes to the families affected. They’ll be size specific for each family’s needs. I know we all feel so helpless right now and it’s been beautiful to see so many fundraisers be pulled together for the community.

Today I’m also sharing 5 things that caught my eye this week! And let’s be honest, I’ll throw in a bonus because it’s so hard to narrow it down.

I’m in the market for a new travel tote and have spent way too much time on Vee’s website comparing all of their bags. I want a bag that will zip at the top and be roomy and organizable. I’m between this Medium Caba Tote and this Medium Porter Tote. There are a lot of great color options, but I believe I’ve narrowed it down to the Moss green.

I love a matching patterned set and this new arrival is really calling me. I love the print!

This new sleeveless mini tweed dress just arrived at Nordstrom and it’s only $90! There are 7 pretty color options and it’s a no brainer in my opinion. Such a classic look.

You all know my love of oval diamonds, well these oval crystal earrings are so beautiful and only $88!!

I discovered this beauty in Boden’s new arrivals and the pink color is GOOD, but there’s an equally nice green option, too. Take 15% off new arrivals right now, too.

I mean, what’s one more?! I love this brand new La Ligne twist top. Soft and flattering and great for layering as well! IMO everything they make is A+. Happy weekend, everyone!

Filed Under: Fashion, What I'm Wearing

There’s a wild swing of vibe in today’s outfit round up because these first two looks are dresses that I ordered for HI, but they didn’t make it in time. I’m keeping them both anyway because I love them so much, and sunny weather will be here before we know it!

Wearing Above:

black and white smocked waist long dress, clemence necklace

I’m in a size four in this dress and because of the smocking I’d say a size 2 would be better but I probably won’t bother exchanging. It’s soft and swingy and ties in the back, halter style!

Wearing Above:

purple & white floral long dress, clemence necklace

Gotta give the side view of this pretty dress so you can see the back cut out that reaches to the other side. Obsessed with this print. It has a series of hook and eye at the bust so you can cover more of your cleavage too. I’m in a size 4 and I think thats the right size for me!

Wearing Above:

gold & racquet crewneck sweatshirt, stripe sports skirt

Have I entered my racquet and golf era? No, I’m just a poser. I’m in a size XS.

Wearing Above:

pink knit crewneck sweater, Pistola straight leg jeans, clemence necklace

This pink sweater is over 50% off, I could do that math but I don’t want to. I’m in a size 1. The color is just ridiculously pretty, don’t you think?

Wearing Above:

black wool belted coat, carolyn white button down shirt,

Levis ankle jeans, black suede boots, my sunglasses

I’m so glad to have this long belted wool coat right now since it’s so cold here in Charleston. I have the size 36 and I’d say its true to size. This is a forever and ever piece and one of the things I’m most excited about in my closet.

Wearing Above:

green cashmere wrap, black tshirt, Levis ankle jeans

I took this photo a few days ago and have thown this cashmere wrap sweater over my outfits at some point probably every day since. In fact I have it on layered over my pajamas right now as I type.

Wearing Above:

blue gingham nightgown, tennis necklace

I feel like this nightgown is one of those see it in person to really appreciate it kind of pieces. But trust it’s heavenly. I’m in the S0.

Wearing Above:

pink zip up collared sweater, cream ribbed tee,

vintage wash jeans, Chloe sneakers,

Ending with this pink zip up sweater that I have in both the grey and now the pink. It’s that good y’all. I wear it both zipped up and open and adore the oversized collar. Also these are my new jeans!! The perfect basic fit. I sized down to a 25 and will say there/s still room so I think they run a little large.

Here we go! The very first of my favorite kind of round up for this year! All the new arrivals that I’m loving right now! Let’s just dive in!

layered sweater, circular metallic sandals, blue & white stripe midi dress, tan wrap jacket,

feather trim long dress, tan eyelet skirt, green & pink midi dress, asymmetrical blue & white set,

stripe cardigan, light blue button down midi, rainbow swingy mini, brown & white long dress

Tuckernuck’s in house brand just dropped an insane collection including this feather trim blue and white dress that I bought! This striped cardigan sold out sooo fast but I found it here. Same situation wtih this layered sweater!! I shared these circular metallic sandals, this blue button down dress, and this stripe rainbow mini dress on my stories and they were insanely popular! Also, this tan wrap jacket is exactly what I want to be in here in Charleston this week – it’s freezing!!
