Hello from The Cotswolds. I landed in London very early Sunday morning and headed out this way for two nights, before ending the rest of the week back in London. I am ECSTATIC. I’ve always wanted to vist and am thrilled it’s finally happening. I’m here with some good girlfriends and am feeling extra lucky.
Packing for this trip took extra thought for me because it’s starting to get chilly here and we’ll be on our feet a lot, and also need to look pretty put together in London. The London Influence and Belgravia Village are bringing us to the city for 3 days and 3 nights of design, fashion, and food, among other things. It’s going to be a great time and of course I’ll be sharing a ton on Instagram and a good recap here, too.
Some Of What I Packed:
First, I always carry on b/c I’ve been burned by lost luggage too many times. I haven’t checked a bag in 7 years probably. I swear by this bigger carry on suitcase and this roomy zip tote. Trust me.
For the Cotswolds I packed:
- gingham pants paired with a navy blazer top and these cute flats.
- a sloane dress b/c they’re my fave and pack so well with these boots.
- casual jeans and blue sweater (on sale on Amazon right now) with white street sneakers for around the hotel.
- a blue dupioni mini shift dress with these boots.
For London I packed:
- these silky tassel pants and this blazer top and these low pumps.
- this pretty jacquard top and matching skirt with this jacket and boots
- this long green dress that I’m obsessed with and these pumps.
- this asymmetric skirt with this cashmere tee (this is a goat in my closet) and chunky knit jacket.
What I never leave home without:
- my hydrinity spray – it’s a lightweight purifying mist that literally cleans and calms your skin. I’ve bought like a dozen of these over time b/c my kids use them too.
- my dyson b/c it just does the best on my hair and i know it doesn’t cause breakage.
- lots of my favorite underwear.
- my steamer b/c like i said above we need to be extra presentable this trip. i get messages everytime i post this thanking me, it’s that good.
- my kindle. always and forever to infinity.
- my portable charger. one of my most used items even when i’m not on the move.
- my baroque pearl necklace, it just goes with everything and is so classic.
- this workout set in case we make it to a pilates studio that was mentioned near our hotel! i love this brand they fit really well and are flattering!
