A little round up of some recent outfits plus two recently delivered try ons! All in all I’d say that this is a good round up of some of my favorite every-day comfy pieces! Let’s go!
This striped sweater is a go-to fave that I have in two colors. In fact it’s my most favorite sweater I own. And these black flats are also my most favorite classic everyday ballet flat.
I’ve had this white sweater for a year or two, I can’t remember how long, but what I love is that it’s this chunky cotton knit that is just so cozy and fresh. She’s great thrown over shoulders as well.
This was one of the aforementioned try-ons, as it’s not quite warm enough here to wear it, but I mean look at how cute this floral tunic dress is! I love the print. I will say it runs large, I immediately washed and dried it after this photo to shrink it.
The other try-on, I love this print on this dress (also comes in a really gorgeous long version). It’s now hanging in Lilly’s closet – which really makes me feel good :)
Sometimes you just need a more elevated vibe. I love a casual jeans and top look but I also love spiffing it up a little. I just got this lace dress from Hill House and she is a forever piece. The material is a stretchy lace fabric that just skims right over your body so it feels amazing and has really good movement.
Quick note on my new heels – they’re a brown raffia low heel and so easy to walk in. I’m going to be wearing these a TON. They run tts, I’m in a 7.
Here are 12 more polished new arrivals that suit well for lunch with your girlfriends, an office meeting, Easter brunch, a coffee meeting, or a night out!
I have that pink stripe shirtdress and she’s even cuter in person – so flattering the way that the waist cinches and then flares.
DYING over the pink gingham top and matching pants. I have those pants in the brown gingham colorway and can tell you they’re a super cute fit and are really comfy!
Today I wanted to zero in on a handful of best selling favorites – that I’m especially loving! These pieces are great wardrobe additions and will be pieces you’ll reach for over and over again! For example, you’ll never get tired of your La Ligne sweater.
I have that black seersucker mini dress in the navy and it’s one of my favorite things. It’s super flattering thanks to the ruching and bubble hem (that stays put). Wearing with this long turquoise necklace.
This is now the third pair of caged shoes that I have from Loeffler. I have both the red heels and the gold heels, and these pink flats are ADORABLE.
I love a flare hem top and this one is my fave – I have it in three prints!! I’m eyeing this blue color! I wear the XS. ** I will say that the taffeta fabric versions run a little smaller compared to their cotton ones, but I’ve found that if I wear a more structured bra (I’m wearing this one that I love and have code CHASSITY-15 for 15% off) that has a little more shape to it that it works perfectly!
And this darling zip top tote! I have the small daytime/travel version but there is also a larger version as well.
The newest dyson airwrap will go down as one of my favorite things of the entire year. Yes I know it’s only February, but that’s how good it is. She is elite.
One last thing, these leggings were also a best seller! I just got them and will be sharing them soon – they’re amazingggg.
– It’s been a comfy clothes week for the most part. I just got these jeans and while they look really tailored and fitted they’re incredibly comfortable thanks to a little bit of stretch, so I’ve been wearing them a good bit!
– I needed to wear this bra to go under a top this week and was reminded of how important it is in my arsenal. I have it in three colors, but wear the nude the most. Just saw the duo pack is $30 off right now too.
– I’ve been wearing this necklace a ton and am pleasantly surprised with how much it goes with!
– Have you SEEN Julia Amory’s new drop? Oh my goodness. This gorgeous caftan dress is incredible. And it’s one of my favorite colors! My mini dress of hers that I have in black is now in two new gorgeous colors. And this blue top is incredible.
– I just got this navy dress from Boden and she’s such a classic and the fit is phenominal!
– I’m really really close to pulling the trigger on these sandals.
What I’m Reading, Watching, & Listening To:
– I watched Eternity and while it’s not like the best movie I’ve ever seen, it has stuck with me! I was just telling Josh all about it this morning and he’ll never watch it so i got to spoil it all for him, but I won’t for y’all. Basically it’s set in the afterlife and this woman (played by Elizabeth Olsen) has to choose who she will spend eternity with. Her first husband who died tragically in a war? Or her second husband (played by Miles Teller) who she built an entire life with for like 65 years. What a conundrum. You can watch the trailer here.
– What I am NOT watching is Tell Me Lies. Y’all I gave this show 3 seasons and while it certainly entertained me, I can’t say it was enjoyable. I hate every single person on this show. It’s toxic hell lol. I can’t bring myself to finish it out with this new season. So I’ll just be reading spoilers and i sure as hell hope that Stephen gets the karma that he so deserves.
– I started One & Only a few nights ago and am just loving the concept! It’s about a matchmaker who can read faces and see prior lives. I’m not sure how much I’ve talked about this before but I am very into the woo-woo world, so this book is right up my alley!
This Week’s Obsession:
SORRY for this close up screenshot from a video i put up on stories!
It’s not new and it’s not the first time you’ve seen it, but this Varley raincoat is elite. I love every color. It’s runs large, I have the XS and it’s still very roomy (not that you want a tight raincoat). That is all.
– “But the shoes? Love.” ~ These were in response to these light pink flats, which, SAME.
– “In the market for a good everyday earring. Preferably a stud, and not overtly spendy.” ~ LOVED this question. I have these and they’re one of my favorite every day pairs. And then I also think these are fabulous and they’re only $48, and then so are these at only $50. They’re a best seller for a reason.
– “I need a one piece bathing suit that isn’t trendy, is flattering and not too showy, and not cheaply made.” ~ If you can stomach the price this one is truly the best. Trust one, it’ll stand the test of time. You also can’t go wrong with the sculpting swimsuit!
– I’ve found myself spraying my face with my boum-boum milk moisturizing spray more often during the middle of the day this week as I look in the mirror and see flakes! It’s a toner, serum, and moisturizer in one, and it’s nice and light and just kinda refreshes!
– I ordered these pink trousers from Zara. I love a slouchy tailored vibe, even though that’s kind of an oxymoron.
– Lake Pajamas Annual Sale is live, so take your pick of cute pjs, but these are super cute!
– I have a code for Armra – CHASSITYEVANS – so this week it gets to be in the under $100 section!! I love colostrum b/c it helps with bloating, gut health, skin radiance, hair growth, and so many other things.
Madewell is giving me more 90s nostalgia with this striped knit polo, and bonus points when styled tucked in! The colors are right.
Kick Flare Workout Leggings:
Okay I’m loving the slightest little smidge of a flare on these workout leggings. They look so much better with sneakers than the usuals that are tight around the ankle!
Slouchy v-necks are a wardrobe staple, and this one is especially well-suited for spring weather – the colors are gorgeous. Imagine it thrown over your shoulders, too.
Non-Boring Knit Patterns:
Details can make the entire look and the knit pattern detail on this button down top is incredible. I love where it hits at the waist, and also the wide (but not too wide) sleeves. If pear green isn’t your thing (why not?) then it comes in ivory, as well.
Scrunched Sleeves:
Blazers look their best when your sleeves are scrunched just so. The only problem is that you’re constantly scrunching, as they inevitably fall. But Veronica Beard’s new blazer, that I’ve seen two different friends wearing in the last week btw, solves that conundrum with the stitched in scrunch! It also comes in navy, ivory, and khaki. Oh and it’s also part of their dickey collection!
Fitted Feminine Details:
A well-fitted strapless is the perfect styling piece b/c it gives you space to build upon without adding bulk. Obviously this dress is gorgeous as is, but she’d also be pretty with a cropped jacket or a sweater thrown over the shoulders as well.
Dopamine Dress:
So you’re going somewhere sunny and you’re looking for the dopamine hit. This colorful dress stopped my Anthro scroll. The colors are gorgeous, the pattern is fun, and the silhouette is flattering. I love the knotted bust detail. Just hang it in my closet and I’ll already feel happier.
Slouchy Tailored Trousers:
Slouchy and tailored may seem contradictory, but you can see what I mean here. I just ordered this pink pleated pair from Zara. The color makes me happy and they’ll be so cute with a simple white top.
I imagine all of us walking around looking fabulous thanks to our dyson airwrap blowouts. And I can picture you sitting down at your computer with your heated mugs keeping your coffees warm.
I love seeing people discover so many of my own most favorite things like this mini dress that I have in navy that now comes in black. And like these ponte tuckernuck pants.
And this sweater – while I don’t know which colors y’all snatched up, I know it’ll be a workhorse in your closets b/c a thin crew cashmere sweater is one of the most versatile things you can own.
