Oh man, yet another delayed life lately post. I had to go all the way back to Halloween, you guys. Maybe I’ll make a point of sharing these posts every 2 weeks in the new year. Would y’all like that? Or is that too often? Anyway, here’s some life lately in no particular order (mainly because I can’t bring myself to start this post with halloween costumes when it’s December…
Garden & Gun Jubilee was this past weekend and it was as amazing as ever. It really is one of my favorite events in Charleston! The weather is always amazing and the flowers are in bloom all over so Gray and I couldn’t resist a bestie pic! I’m wearing my new plaid poncho!
And Josh and I went to a Jubilee dinner Saturday night with a New Orleans theme. The Preservation Hall Band played and I had so much fun dancing. With Lucy and Julia here… I’m wearing a similar dress here. Lucy’s lace dress stole the show though.
But the really funny thing about this photo is our leg placement. Matching not intentional. Must be a blogger thing, ha!
A better look at my blue earrings I’m wearing up there! My favorites. I want ALL the colors!
Okay, let’s circle back to halloween. Because I LOVED our door this year. I ordered new bats (the old ones were too weathered).
And my alien abducted daughter and hot dog son.
I never showed this on the blog but I partnered with Soma on instagram and LOVE this robe.
Good vibes in the playroom. Banner by Sharptooth Studio.
At my one football game a year. And by football I mean tailgate. You can’t see it well in this photo but I’m wearing this bell sleeve top. They call it a sweater but it’s really more like a very well fitted sweatshirt. I love it.
November was a big birthday month for us. Lilly turned 8 and Fletcher turned 6. Co-birthday parties are the best. A little wild (like when one boy fell in the pool) but fun.
Celebrating the Art Mag’s 10 year anniversary with Katie, Gray, and Anna. I’m wearing this floral wrap dress. I love it so much that I have it in two colors.
Some favorite party shoes lined up in a row. The gold metallic heels are the perfect holiday shoe and get so many compliments! And I’m obsessed with both of the feather topped satin Trademark shoes.
I co-hosted a beautiful baby shower with these lovely ladies for our friend Haskell. Doesn’t she look gorgeous? First babies are so fun.
Party earrings! Some Hart tassels (on sale!), a feathery pair by Lizzie Fortunato, and some finial favorites from Tuckernuck.
And let’s finish the life lately round up with some pictures from our Thanksgiving on Harbour Island. We brought Josh’s parents with us and had an amazing time! We had Thanksgiving dinner at The Dunmore, our favorite. I’m wearing a Rhode Resort dress and these metallic slides.
The kids planted a Christmas tree.
Went on a sunset cruise with friends. So pretty, it couldn’t even be captured.
Sweet Lilly on the porch :)
The best tile.
Marysia and her family were there too – they just bought land on Harbour Island and are building! I’m so excited to be island neighbors! The kids all had the best week playing together.
With Tricia & Marysia at the Dunmore x Marysia Resort Collab launch party. More on this to come!
Fletcher officially turned 6 while we were there so naturally we celebrated with pancakes. Notice the match stick candle. Sometimes you have to improvise on an island.
I was so excited to see our bougainvilleas peeking through our fence at Coral House! Can’t wait for it to be covered! I got my dress from Blue Rooster, one of my favorite shops on the island :)
Happy Tuesday!
It’s from Zara :)
Where is Lily’s sweater with the little poofs?
Thanks Michele. Fun life for sure, of course I only share the good stuff, lol.
Aw thanks Melissa! That makes me really happy to hear that :) xx Chassity
I love these posts. Fun life!
Even though I’ve already seen all these pics on IG, love scrolling through them again…. beautiful.
