Just a few quick life lately things today…
On Saturday I had the pleasure of having lunch at the Park Cafe with some old friends and a couple new in celebration of Timo Weiland coming to town for CFW. Thank you to Hampden Clothing for hosting the little party, and thank you to Ed Kavish for sending me this picture (so much better than the one I instagramed).
Afterwards I ran by the Proud Mary & Olivia Rae James pop up shop and fell in love with this backpack. Isn’t it amazing?
Meanwhile Josh took the kids to a friend’s birthday party and Fletcher tried to take a tractor home.
Lilly & Fletch got the Pottery Barn Kids summer collection catalog and I found myself jealous of pretend little girls’ rooms and things. PB has totally upped their game. I love this little moroccan side table, all of their new bedding, and THIS peacock chair!!
So y’all might remember how I went on and on about these Sam Edelman sandals. Well I had to have them, they’re too pretty and the price is too good. I love them so much. And how perfect are the Anthropologie x Bauble Bar jewels (necklace here and earrings here).
Oh yeah, I got a rug, too. Hey hey calm down I had some birthday money and we really needed a new rug. Our old one (you can see below this one b/c I was testing it out and still haven’t removed the bottom one) is nicknamed the “rug of pain” b/c it’s so hard and it was impossible to clean. But oh if anyone local wants to buy it email me… ha! So please excuse the non-styled shot. I even spy toys under the table. Anyway, this is the West Elm Torres Rug in guava (comes in black too). It’s pretty much the bees knees and I couldn’t be happier. And in case you’re wondering I’m all about layering rugs but I’m just not digging this combo together. Now I need to get working on hanging some of the art I’ve been hoarding.
Lastly, this morning Furbish is launching it’s first Vintage & One of a Kind sale. Sure to be amazing. Hurry hurry.
Also, did you see my New & Now post from yesterday? I still can’t stop thinking about it. So many amazing things.
Hey Rhea. It’s not crazy soft but it’s also not totally uncomfortable. If you’re looking for something really comfy it may not be the right rug.
Hi there !
Wondering if you can tell me about the feel of the rug? I want the black version but don’t live near a store, so wondering how it feels? I hate that scratchy feel you get with some rugs.
Thanks!
Aren’t they great? Thanks Jillian.
Hey Brooke! The skirt is from Troubadour’s spring 2013 line, I don’t think they’re available anymore. I think Harper might have one more of her backpacks. Go to her website Proud Mary and email her!! Hope that helps.
Thank you Annie!!
in LOVE with those sandals!! xo jillian – cornflake dreams
Obsessed with your white skirt (maybe dress) and the backpack. Do you have a link to both of these? As always, amazing finds:)
The rug adds so much color to your room – I love it!! Also, I’ve been obsessing over the BaubleBar|Anthro collab – I love the tortoise/sparkle bracelet and the necklace you got. So fun!
YAY BB twins!! xoxo
wearing my BaubleBar necklace today, and CFW looks so much! have to try to get up there next year! xxo
Hey Lee! Yes I got this at Abide a While last year. It’s done so well and I’m terrible with plants! I just give it tons of light and don’t water often at all.
Love that rug! Also, where did you get that fiddle leaf fig? Dying for one! I live in Mt P, so hoping it’s local.
It was so fun. And thank you!! Yes the color is perfect! xo
What a fun get together! Love the Sam Edelman sandals. I find them so comfortable. Loving the new rug. Great color for spring and summer.
