that I need a hard kick in the ass to get started on… because I’ve procrastinated for nearly 2 months now.
The story goes that I bought these papers from Kate’s Paperie with the intent of framing them as wall art.
Great idea, right? They’re gorgeous, inexpensive, and are surely worthy of hanging. I just can’t seem to get myself to actually do it {Ahem, this is why I am NOT a DIY blogger}. I really only need to find a background paper (b/c those are actual holes you see) and then frame them.
Basically, this post serves solely as motivation to get it done. I mean, it’s out there now. I have to do it. Okay, good talk.
Pssst. Today is the last day to enter the Pretty Smitten Giveaway.
Ummm, get on it please because I want to do the same thing!
Yay! I have these same papers. I have been trying to decide what to frame them in and where to hang them in our house. We have been in our new house for 6 months…. so, I guess it’s about time for me to make a decision.
One thing that I was thinking was using a floating frame. I dunno..what cha think about that? You know its just 2 pieces of glass surronded by a frame so you see the wall behind it.
What pretty paper! Can’t wait to see the finished project!
You can do it! They would beautiful with a deep rich pink!
Pink & Pearl sound perfect- make sure and do a show and tell when finished! Bet you feel so light and pretty with your hair done- always love how good it smells after being at the salon! (congrats on 500)!!!!
Those papers will look great framed! I have so many things that are framed but haven’t been hung, and then I have a wall of frames with nothing in them. I seem to be having the same problem with completing my projects.
Oooh I love these papers! I feel you though. It takes a miracle to get me started on a project.
Haha–Go get ’em girl. You can do it! :)
i want these!! def worthy of hanging!! can’t wait to see what you decide! xo

I’m not much of a DIYer either…but just think how great you’ll feel? I’ll be checking back on you.

i’m not a good DIY either…i usually start and don’t finish. i like cristine’s suggestion, light pink. can’t wait to see what you choose.
I think you should go with a light turquoise, like the one in your mirror above your sofa. It would echo that look…imho.
Those are gorgeous! Can’t wait to see what background you choose! :)

I think they would both look great with a hot pink background in a simple white frame from ikea. Don’t feel bad, I procrastinate like a champ!
Gorgeous papers! I like Christine’s idea too. Can’t wait to see how they look completed!
Good talk.. now go get them done ;) x
Great idea, those will look great! I hear you on the DIY. I try, but somehow those projects seem to be on the back burner. Have a great weekend!
How amazing! You really need to finish this because I am sure all of us (your followers) would love to see the finished product.
Haha I love this post, and I’m the same way: I only get things done when I’m tired of having them take up space on my desk. Definitely agree with what the other commenters suggested — a pale blush pink would be gorgeous. I can’t wait to see the finished project!
you can do it!
What if they had a not-so significant background, but the frame was pretty awesome. Something fun- teal, or coral.. or maybe trying a bright flower background? The only way to tell is to try a bunch of different styles!
I tend to procrastinate such projects too!
What will they be hung near? Any other color in the area? I like Christine’s idea of a light blush. But I also really just like the black and white.
Great paper! Now go get it done!!! Oh, and love the blush pink and pearl colors…that’ll look awesome.
Definitely do it. It will look gorgeous
As a matter of fact, blush pink and a pearly color are the exact colors I was thinking :)
Beautiful paper! Love Christine’s idea of a blush pink behind. I too am not a big DIY person, wish I was, but I ‘m not. I have had a vanity chair sitting in my garage for weeks waiting to be painted and recovered and I keep stalling. Making myself paint it this weekend since the weather will be nice. xoxo
A light very blush pink paper behind both? They’re gorgeous and I know you’ll get er done! Sending positive frame and hang thoughts your way. xo
