Good morning!! Today I’m sharing our family room progress so far! I really love how it’s coming along!! We are still missing a few pieces like some window treatments (coming in about a month and I can’t wait to share but picture Rebecca Atwood fabric) and a coffee table (I’m still on the hunt for the right one), but what we do have in place makes me very happy! Many of these pieces came from our old house, but there are some new additions I’d love to share!
Our new rug is from Annie Selke, which is really where I get most all of my rugs! I love their designs for every space whether I’m going for color or a neutral. Since we have the green sofas in this room I wanted to neutral rug to ground the space. This Ojai wheat cotton rug is perfect because it adds a subtle pattern while not demanding too much attention. It’s from Annie Selke’s collaboration with Mark Sikes and it’s my fave!! Isn’t it gorgeous?!
Another new addition to our family room design is this Visual Comfort Alberto Chandelier from Circa Lighting. It comes in three different sizes and I went with the large single tier size. It also is available in 4 different finishes, I have the Plaster White. I love the dimension it adds to the space.
I would eventually like to move this navy grasscloth credenza to another wall in the room and place two upholstered chairs in this space. Something fun with a little pattern! One thing at a time though! I’m happy with where we are right now and just living in the space to get a feel for what works best!
