The majority of my most favorite home tours are all designed around a clean palette with bright colors layered in. This is how I’ve approached my home, as well. So I was naturally drawn in when I saw Lizzie Mettler’s L.A. home tour on One Kings Lane’s blog.
(white slipcovered sofa | linen pillows | hydrangea centerpiece)
(acrylic side table | cream lamps)
(vintage map art | natural console)
(toyo straw hat | portrait painting)
(red bamboo chairs | brass pendant | marble top table)
You all know I’m very well versed in One Kings Lane’s site :) I’m on there most every day not only checking out their latest pop up sales, but also surfing their extensive product categories. They are a favorite source for most anything home related – especially the art! Here are a few of my favorite colorful finds to add some brightness to any home.
umbrella print, blue chair, blue table lamp,
acrylic bar cart, blue hue’d books, overdyed rug,
pink ottoman, hydrangea vase, citrus velvet pillow,
pink chair, printed bench, fez bowls, matisse blue nude
I think that velvet citrus pillow outlined in green might be my favorite pillow I’ve seen in a long time. It’s the prettiest shade! And the orange umbrella print is the perfect color combination. The photographer, Natalie Obradovich, has some of THE BEST beach art I have ever seen thanks to her eye for color. I just ordered this print! And one of the easiest ways to add color to a kitchen is with these fun and colorful bowls – they are my family’s favorites for cereal and ice cream!
Photography by Nicole LaMotte. Thank you to One Kings Lane for partnering on this post.
Love the photos and the picks especially the lamp and chair!

That printed bench rocks. I recently bought a condo and I love finding fun pops of color for the house!
